Honestly, people didn't want OSRS for the graphics. It was out of hate for EoC. Even if OSRS got RS3 graphics it wouldn't change anything (I'd vote yes).

People are more interested in gameplay changes.

I don't think HD graphics would happen in 07, just for the fact that the RS community hates graphics. When Jagex updated Burthorpe to have some really beautiful coloring/scenery, people on the forums went berserk over the change. Not only that, but whenever there's a graphical update, people just rage that it looked better the old way. See... any graphic update really, but specifically gnomes and dwarves.

RS community just seems to hate graphics for some reason, and I feel like the only person who appreciates them sometimes lol
