I usually just laugh at people blaming Ddos attacks over their dcs. Why would anyone waste resources ddosing THEM.

How do they get your IP?

Let's say you're friends with Person A
And let's say Person A knows Person B which you don't know.

Let's also assume you didn't know Person A is friends with a lot of people who stake and introduces you to Person B.

So now you know both person A and B then suddenly Person C who you one day stake out of the blue gets info from B and BAM! DC.

Fortunately, I won despite being thrown off lol.

This was back in 2012 though mind you. I haven't been booted since.
