When doing the proper RoB (not trial), how does it work for the rewards?

Is it just go as best you can, more you do = more reward?

Or do you have to aim for min of 20 waves etc?

Erh, maybe it only advances a growth stage per xp drop >50k+? Not counting both stages on the third floor where you went from 143k to 209k xp?

Would larges only make the pillar advance one stage even if you gain 200k xp from one floor then? :s Seems odd.
