I heard if you put it in the pocket slot ashes are destroyed and it uses up charges without giving you any prayer xp lol. On the other hand, if you have it in the inventory you get normal xp from ashes (not double as you should) but it also doesn't use up charges.

I made one and I've been using it at abyssal and black demons. It's really nice for anything that drops ashes lol, you can save like 20+ inventory space at the tasks I mentioned by not having to carry prayer potions and infernal urns. I can now actually use a titan so yeah.

But I think it will start using up charges in one of the next updates and I don't know if I want to pay 200k a task to keep it charged. As long as it keeps its ash function at 0 charges (without the double xp) it's going to be good though. Hi

I'll use urns over the ectoplasmator still if they don't make ghostly essence available elsewhere too as 11 gp/xp just to avoid carrying runes for the same amount of xp doesn't seem worth it. :P

E: I tried it at black demons and it's already using up charges. :o

Did you say yours used up charges in inventory? That's really weird lol could it be that I added more essence to mine after creating it, boosting the charges to 1010 (over 1k)? Maybe the game sees it as an invalid charge number and it can't decrement it lol. Hi
