I'm fussy with shows in a way. I will always like research a show before even attempting to watch it, to avoid wasting my time on something that doesn't have potential to captivate my mind!
I guess my expectations are high from shows. It has to be really good for me to get hooked. Otherwise, I will quit it. Just like I did with The 100, it failed to hook me and I just did not like the acting at all, it seemed very weird. I haven't even considered giving it another try yet.
I guess that's why I don't suffer from what Morgan is going through with shows@

Sometimes there isn't time to research though... it's easy to research shows that have already run for a season, but new shows are unpredictable!
I suppose I should install or repair the Quit_Show driver in my brain.
Like Torchwood.. I loved Seasons 1-3 and then came Season 4.. the transition from UK to US was a bad move for the show - it went from a good spin-off of Doctor Who to an awful show that barely relates to Doctor Who any more. I instantly quit the show and have never gone back. As far as I was concerned, Season 3 was the finale of that show.
If it stops being awesome, my brain will basically delete it.
