Golem outfit would probably be the better option assuming it works with Seren stones as well.

If the player has a complete set of the Golden mining suit, they will get the additional bonus experience when mining. As well, players who have any version of the Varrock armour will get the chance of mining double ores up to the respective version unlocked. This outfit, along with the Emerald golem outfit, and Ruby golem outfit, can be combined to make the Magic golem outfit for additional benefits.
