1. If you've not bought anything from the store yet, could you tell me why?
The shirts were just not my taste, and too obviously related to Runescape. I love to wear shirts with a double meaning, where only true RSers can understand the inside joke but also others will see something else humorous in it.
2. The latest t-shirts (the clan logo ones) are a bit of a change in tempo to the earlier stuff - they're limited edition and designed by monkeys for a start. What do you think? better? worse? different?
Better. Keep them, don't have them limited. These ones are the kind of shirts I like (or have to like, according to someone *cough*Laieta*cough* u.u). Definately improving slowly!

It's nice to see Jagex wishing to improve the Jagex Store and obtain valuable feedback regarding it :) .
___
1. If you've not bought anything from the store yet, could you tell me why?
~ I have bought plenty from the store and have loved everything I've bought so far! If I had more money, I'm sure I would buy a few more fantastic *-shirts, but unfortunately, I'm quite poor in real life!
The only thing I wouldn't ever buy, however, is the "I Pkd Your Mom" t-shirt, which in my humble opinion, I believe is the worst item I've ever seen for sale in the Jagex Store. I understand this doesn't have much to do with the question you've asked, Mod Paul M, but I truly would like to inform Jagex of my distaste for such an item.
It just doesn't seem right, in my opinion, and it definitely doesn't fit in with the entire atmosphere of RuneScape and its fantasy theme.
2. The latest t-shirts (the clan logo ones) are a bit of a change in tempo to the earlier stuff - they're limited edition and designed by monkeys for a start. What do you think? better? worse? different?
~ I think they're quite better, actually, and most definitely different :) . It's nice to see a wide spectrum of apparel in the Jagex Store, so I really have no constructive criticism to offer for any of the currently provided apparel, because personally, I love them all!
It would be, however, nice if we could have our RuneScape user-names and perhaps a clan motto, or a quote of some sort, printed on any Jagex apparel we wish to buy for a few extra dollars.
I would love for one of my RuneScape t-shirts to clearly state "Vandite" on it ^_^ .
___
Sincerely speaking, I think you guys did a great job so far with the Jagex Store, so well done!
~Vandite
Just your friendly neighborhood team player.

Yeahp Mr. Pickles :P That's pretty much the big reasons as to why people don't buy.
Age Factor - Since this is an online store, it requires credit cards/debit/paypal or what have you, and does require shipping which isn't something most of the younger players can do.
Doesn't mean parents won't do it for them, though.
T-Shirts - Personally, it's just not enough variety in the store. There's too many t-shirts and not enough RuneScape ... stuff. It really would be cool if say... after a major quest, the Jagex store would have some sort of limited edition lore items.
Hate to bring in competition but as an example from another game, they released a limited edition codex edition of their game which came with codex pages (which was a book of the game's lore), an artifact that posed great existence in the game (Stone of Jas pl0x ^_^ ), a poster, etc etc. It even came in an awesome looking package, too!
As a proud geek I'd deffo buy that stuff!
Best of luck with what you guys wish to do with the store!

1. If you've not bought anything from the store yet, could you tell me why?
You answered that with your second question.
2. The latest t-shirts (the clan logo ones) are a bit of a change in tempo to the earlier stuff - they're limited edition and designed by monkeys for a start. What do you think? better? worse? different?
I don't think the new shirts are any better. Designing T-Shirts is actually something that I do and it's all about staying relevant.
Here are a few tips:
1. Labeling things as limited edition constantly will not get more people interested in making a purchase. It doesn't work that well on shirts.
2. Be original - Shirts such as the I <3 RS and I PKed your Mom are not appealing. The I <3 NY shirt has been replicated so many times in so many different ways. The I PKed your mom shirt is just ridiculous.
4. Some people I've spoken to don't feel comfortable wearing RS clothing out in public. Something you might want to do is sell Jagex clothing. I would much rather buy a Jagex hoodie (with just the Jagex logo) over a RS godwars boss hoodie anyday.

5. Improve the image of Jagex - Right now quite a few players are unhappy and frustrated. I'm sure the last thing they are thinking about is buying something from the Jagex store.
If you can improve that, you'll most likely get more sales.
Feedback is the best way to go when it comes to improvement. I'm glad to see you are taking that step towards making changes. :)
Cheers,
Jibby

A year or two ago, I got to know the Jagex store more, and like looking at the different things you could buy, and I wanted them so much, but I couldn't afford them, so I thought "They'll be there for a while, I'll wait 'til Christmas, Birthday, etc, and buy it for myself.
When I eventually got round to going to buy them, there were things I liked, but in silly sizes that were left, like XL (I take a Medium! ;) )
Last Christmas, mum Mum asked what I wanted for Christmas, and I said I don't really want anything much, just some clothes or something (Yes, I am boring like that, mainly because I don't like people spending money on me, but I spend a lot of money on them :) ), and I'm VERY FUSSY concerning what I wear, and I knew that there were things on the store that I'd seen (I check every few weeks or a month or so for new things).
So I chose a few things, I got a DFS knitted hat, Large ZMI hoodie, Zaros cap (Which came with a free Jagex wristband, not sure that was intended, but I've not taken it off since Christmas... :D ) along with the lovely black and gold KBD Medium T-shirt.
Since then, I've bought a white shirt with a green and yellow symbol of Bandos, which I'm currently wearing along with my black Zaros cap :D ; and a brown shirt with just Runescape on it.
I have definitely noticed a wider choice of things available on the store, but I'd like to see things come back to the accessories, such as the Armadyl laptop bag and the mouse mats (I was gutted I didn't get either for my new laptop :( ), I also want to see the poison arrow pub, or other pub Tankard in there, I need a new one for the summer :) Also the quality I've also noticed has improved since the new store, both in designs AND in the comfort of the clothes too.
Will continue....
