Nothing to report, I'm afraid - sorry. All I can say really is that we're paying attention, but I'm not aware of any current plans. (That's not to say it definitely won't ever happen - I just don't have any information.)

Sorry to hear it. What if we released subtler designs that don't scream RuneScape, but that would still be recognised by fellow players if they saw you? Like being "in the know", as it were.

As mentioned in past posts, I have here another list of ideas for additions to the Jagex store. :)
• Soundtrack of some of RuneScape's most signature tunes.
• Customizable mugs with player's username and/or clan name with possibly clan logo.
• iPhone/iPod Touch and iPod Nano silicon cases with RuneScape, Jagex logos, or some iconic images.
• RuneScape pens
• Bring back the RuneScape flash drives.
• Small cell phone charms of RuneScape's best known creatures. (some people are into that stuff.)
• Beach towels
• RuneScape trivia game
• Book of collection of old RuneScape history and lore. Possibly some never heard of before.
• Bob the cat plush, maybe one of Postie Pete too.
• Pack Yak bag of some kind? (Possibly a horrible idea...but I had to do something with the hard-working behemoth. :P )
• Some kind of small board perhaps to mark off skill 99's or to record your current levels.
• Pack of miscellaneous RuneScape stickers.
• Fleece blankets
• Wallets, or money-clip with RuneScape god symbols.
• Map of Gielinor (Needs to be updated periodically, not every update, but every once in a while.)
• RuneScape sword letter opener
• T-shirt with print looking like a dragon chainbody
• Magnets
• Guitar straps
• RuneScape gaming keyboard and mouse

That's about all I have time to come up with for today. If I have any more I'll be sure to make a post or maybe just continue it onto this post. To see my original ideas, see page 7.

Prime Zaros hit the nail on the head. That's exactly why I won't buy the apparel. Paul this feedback is all sorts of honesty, but Prime Zaros has the most honest post.

Since I am running out of members in a short while and have an internship coming up as I need it for graduation, I would like for my last post to contribute something to Runescape.
Maybe if you made a product line that did not incorporating runescape or the jagex logo; you might see an increase in the bottom line for your store.
As you are probably thinking, "yea advice from a fourteen year old..."
Actually, as embarrassed as I am to say this... I am 25 and I have an an internship required for my graduation.
I think I can help a little as I am a Business Administration Major.
As whether or not to cut the store itself, you have get a managerial accountants view of it. Even if the bottom line is coming up in the red, its not a good idea to cut the store. It more often than not contributes something to the fixed overhead.
---MANAGERIAL ACCOUNTING ADVICE---
My advice is not to look at the bottom line; look at your variable and fixed expenses. Maybe if you can lessen that, you can be profitable.

I wish I had more time for runescape but I guess I have to grow up sometime.

Not to derail the threa but some persons, such as myself, don't care what others say- we play runescape because we love it and we are proud of it!
Remember mario? Mario freaks buy the candy, the knickkancks, the rc cars etc etc, and there's a market for this stuff- the more unique and original the better! :)

Figurines or plushies would be cool, but a single transaction of $3.99+ for one figure would not be cost effective. Maybe you could make a mixed set (like postie pete, a penguin, bob the cat, KBD, & WOM, or whoever) that could be bought for a better total price. A set of 5 the same would also be nice - one person could purchase it and then share among their RL friends.
However, new products may be difficult; apparel is simpler to make and sell online. Noregretlife suggested PAJAMAS - if possible, that would solve the "I can't wear this in public" issue!!
As Jan Cabbage said, the shirts are "too obviously related to Runescape. I love to wear shirts with a double meaning, where only true RSers can understand the inside joke but also others will see something else humorous in it." I totally agree - I wouldn't like a confused non-gamer to ask me to explain a cabbage bomb.
This is a tough goal but REALLY important - I too would buy something that gave a DOUBLE MEANING. I'm a mom, and I thought the "I PK'd your mom" was hilarious. I didn't buy it because it wouldn't make sense to non-gamers - would they think it was something obscene? "Worst Update Ever" was also hysterical, but meaningless to non-gamers.
Chunky Milk had the right idea - it might help if we offered some suggestions for "double meaning" shirts. But they are difficult too; her list entries just didn't hit the mark for me. Example:
~Shirt with picture of Overload. Caption: Pot up. - Faux --- I like it but ... would this sound to strangers as if encouraging use of pot? >.<
I didn't really get the Bad Monkey t-shirt ... too much like "***** the monkey " (other adult friends agreed.)
I like the combat triangle shirt - meaningful in rs (tho not amusing), and not too odd for non-gamers ... but the only ladies' color was brown - ick. The men's offers multiple, so it's not a printing issue.
Funny shirts (that have some simple meaning to non-gamers) would be favourite, but I've got no suggestions. :(

Because my runescape identity must be kept secret from a world of haters <3 Narrr I actually might have a look at the store now :P
2. The latest t-shirts (the clan logo ones) are a bit of a change in tempo to the earlier stuff - they're limited edition and designed by monkeys for a start. What do you think? better? worse? different?
They look wickid sick awesome amazing kewl.
JUST A THOUGHT! Jagex should offer personalised shirts of your runescape character. I would definatly pay for that!
What do you think Mod Paul M and others?!?! :O :D :O
P.S. I want a white partyhat shirt.
