Alethros - lol, hush you! I wasn't exactly going to come up with a complete logic clue when I only needed to give a rough idea of one, now was I? :-p

1) Exactly the same as it's always been!

2) Faster - how do you expect me to get a 99 in this lifetime?!

Allow me to translate this:

Q: If you could do something with the exp rates...


1) Keep it exactly the same as it's always been!

2) Faster - give us more bonus exp weekends.

3) Slower - I already have good stats so I think other people should have to do it at a slower rate.


Now if we analize this it'll be like this.

Q: If you could change exp rates...


1) I wouldn't do bonus exp weekends

2) I would give more bonus exp weekends.

3) I like giving answers that make no sence for fun in a poll.

There should have been more options for the final question.

As it is I had to go with "Exactly as it is!" seeing as some skills are at a decent xp rate gain with some needing a xp rate gate increase and little to none needing a xp rate gate decrease while having bonus xp weekends seem to be a good idea and should start happening on non-member worlds too.

Q1:Just say:Woot lvl[lvl gained]
Q2:Sometimes,i keep track of the xp only when i have a goal.
Q3:If it`s a gathering skill i go for total chaos, if it`s a manufacturing skill i buy lots of resources and then it`s pretty much a big chaos)unless i have to go to a certain place (i.e. runecrafting)
Q4:Just say Gratz
Q5:Messing around runescape,i wander through the continent of runescape and if a place reminds me of skilling i just start leveling,unless i need something i don`t have something that i need with me,in which case i go to the bank.
I usually have my clan chat on, and if people start talking about a skill it usually reminds me to train that skill.
Q6:It`s good as it is now.Any faster will make the game too easy,any slower will make the game to hard.

Jagex: newer players want the game to be easier, older players (like myself) have decided to stick around to rise to the challenge. Please don't take the final answer of the poll super seriously with regards to xp rates and future BXPWs because the division will be just as I said: faster xp rates will be newer players, slower xp rates will be high total older players.

A very interesting poll this week, and I have just a few remarks to make.

In relation to the last question, I sincerely hope this is not being considered, I think I speak for many people- roughly 45%- in saying that the game has been balanced this way pretty well up to now, and overhauling the entire XP system would be horrid.

Anyway, enough lecturing, what I found actually quite disappointing, is that many people, myself included, obsessively check XP when training. What might be interesting would be to whether the results are the same when training various skills. The traditional "grind" skills, and perhaps one like Dungeoneering.

Could also be quite interesting to find out what factors influence the goal people go for. A special ability (I.e 88 summon for uni), being better than your friends, reaching a milestone (70,80,90,99), possibly high-score rank.

Anyway, onto a more general point now. For some poll questions, would it be possible to separate out the answers into categories, depending on total/combat level or whatever. Perhaps this would be most useful in polls like this, where you look at different peoples attitudes to XP, or the game in general.
