I think the answer about enjoying clue 5 will be messed up. I DID enjoy completing the magic square and all, but all the counting items was definitely NOT the way to go. THAT only generated frustration and confusion.

Also, I'm sure there was some other people that ran into the same problem as me on the clue with the WOM's library. I'm a pack rat and had one of the books in my bank, so until I thought of looking there I was totally stumped. Jagex should check for these things before release.

Otherwise it was a very enjoyable event.

I was very excited about this event, i loved it... until day 5 came out, yeah the magic square or whatever it was was fun, but i cant see any fun in counting 160 candles and 48 gems when some of theme are like 1pixel big, it wasnt fun, it was depressing, and according to what i have seen in game and read on forums, im not the only one feeling this way. I was disappointed that much that i didnt even finish the Clue Fest, even tho the answer was on the internet.

This event was a great idea, and im really looking forward to doing another one, but, please, skip counting meaningless stuff next time and let us just use our brains, it would be much better. The Ice Queen

I think a lot of people might have voted 'did not participate' because they were busy with other things.

Maybe even preparing for the bonus xp weekend. I know I was.

Might be good not to stack something that needs to be done in a certain amount of time with something around the corner that will only happen at a certain time, and a lot of people are preparing for.

I liked all the puzzles except the counting one, which was just horrendous.

I didn't bother trying to solve the magic square, because I was worried that I'd discover after an hour of effort that my count was out, and so I was putting the wrong numbers in.

As a Quest Cape holder (and indeed the leader of a clan of Quest Cape holders), I hate looking up the answer to puzzles.

But in the end I had to say to myself, "Lumin, is this fun? No, Lumin, it is not. And do we play RS to have fun, Lumin? Yes, Lumin, we do. Then shall we just look up the answer, Lumin? Too damn right, Lumin." :P
