Hello, I have been playing for a very long time now. I might not play over 8 hrs a day or even 3 hours becouse my life is busy.

BUT I would like to say even though Runescape has its ups and downs, I seem to get drawn back in the hope for what we had right before the trade update.

Sure I love polls becouse its good to have a place where we can state how we feel, but to be honest it seems the players are so consentraded on making Runescape better when its great the way it is. Graphic updates are great but why do we have to keep raising the stakes. Everything on Runescape is getting easier to obtain and more pointless. The skillcapes are a great thing, when the update went through I was overjoyed-racing to get my 99 woodcuting. But seeing everyone on Runescape with all these 99's and maxed combat is sorta depressing. I have played a long time and it seems that im not getting anywhere becouse runescape is advancing to fast.

So to conclude this post I vote we should have less polls and less changes.

Thank you for your time. ^_^

I'm a fairly casual Runescape player, but I enjoy the time I do play. It's great to be able to split into a massive alternate world for as little as 10 minutes, complete a quest or a self made goal, and pop back out. It's one of Runescapes greatest strengths in my opinion.

Only "complaint" that I can think of is that a lot of the quests released recently have had very high requirements. While I always enjoy these quests deeply when I FINALLY manage to drag my skills to the right level, my favourite quests would have to be ones like "A Void Dance." Reasonable length, challenging, and a good story. And made all the better by not having to prepare goodness knows how much stuff beforehand.

That's about it. Keep up the good work. :D

Questions about Polls

1. Do Moderators take poll activity into account when choosing other Moderators?

a. Because i applied to be a moderator a month ago =P

2. Do polls affect how updates will be made?

3. Will you add me Mod Howes?joking ;) your list is probably full and off-topic.

I like most of the polls that you guys have put out there on the boards. But, I feel as an avid runescape player, I do spend most of my day on runescape, that these polls are almost repative, in a sense that you ask alot of the same questions. Yes I am a no-life gamer for those of you that dont know me, Runescape has been fantastic over the years, a real place where I have the freedom to escape reality as I see fit. With the skills being ever so much easier to obtain, while other aspects lack in comparasin to others, Pvp has fallen very far downhill since the R.W.T update, which is why I have strayed away from once a glorious Player Kill to killing slayer beasts day to day. So much for that "BOOM!! HEADSHOT!!", Until the glorious Player killing is back to being ever so Glorious... Its back to the slayer caves for me. :P

Wanted to say that I enjoyed this poll because of the humour I found in it with the "text speak" answers.

Which reminded me of the real reason I keep coming back which is, the game is FUNNY! My daughter started working for.. hm... the "other guys" and got a free membership she gave to me. And I tried. But it wasn't FUNNY!

Runescape makes me smile, and sometimes laugh. Okay.. when I lost my first rune kite I actually cried but I was new!

That wasn't one of the poll options but is the real reason I still play this game.

Just wanted to start off and say I've been playing Runescape for over 5 years now.

I've seen a lot of changes. One I do miss is the "Old Wild" and I realize that is a thing
of the past.

There has been many changes, all of which I have learned being an "mother of two, or older player-, I would like to say matured, but Rofl I've seen some immature "Older players" on this game. Anyways back on track. I've learned to adapt to change, change is progress, and progress is what keeps this game going. However there have been and are some things on this game I have learned to "shall we say cope with".

1st being the most annoying thing on this game to me, "the dwarf Canon" Oh My God! That thing annoys the heck out of me. I have never heard of a mechanical "gear based" machine being around in the Medieval times. I would love to be able to sabotage that pixel pain with a bucket of water, and see it rust LOL. Me and close friend talk on our audio about it, the ways we can destroy it is rather funny. However it wouldn't be non-repairable. You can have a smithing lvl to make steel sheets and repair the rust damage done on the canon. " we're not that cruel" LOL.

2nd, is I have seen this with my own eyes I'm sorry Jagex, but it is so true. I've seen Player Mods
hang out with players and within a couple weeks or less they are Mods. I've had this happen to my mates "while I've sat helpless and watched. Players call there PMod friends and have them Mute the player(s). It's and out and out travesty to abuse your powers, I've seen players who admit to account sharing being moderators, players who are just ignorant and power happy to have this "white crown" hang over a pixel's head. Clearly More thought and consideration needs to be put into who you choose as a Moderator.

continued post #2

At the end of it I've learned to roll with the punches so to speak. The game in general with exception to the fore mentioned and now the "players abusing Player enhanced programs" the game is enjoyable, but I find myself playing less and less these days.
