I played Runescape for about 3 years, then quit. I came back last summer, created a new account, and have played on and off since then. I'd say that the only things that keep me playing are my friends on RS, and the fact that i still have 40 or so days of my membership left to play out. However it is a fun game, so its nice to come back and see what's new every few years.

I try my best to answer polls frequently because I enjoy them >o<
I think they're a good quick way to get honest feedback from players. However, the answers is sometimes not varied enough. When I'm inbetween two answers I have to pick one of them at random since they're both not very accurate to me.

What really keeps me coming back to RS is the fact that after 5 years some of the stuff you guys pull out of your hat still amazes me beyond all reason. I've seen the entire community go into an uproar over an update or something being removed, and seen so many great small fixes that would go unnoticed to someone who doesn't watch details. In essence for me what my motivation is watching and waiting to see where this ride called Runescape is gonna lead and what new little tidbit here and there will get me a talking between a few friends who play and what will send the community (and ge) into a panic and uproar over something 1/3rd of people really don't like much.

Anywho keep up the great polls and I just wish I'd remember to vote in em a tad more often then I did. Peace and lets hope the other MMO you guys are working on is another long runner like RS

I've been playing for 5-6 years now, and I quit after the trade update, but came back since I spent too much time on my account and had a lot of friends in RuneScape. Im really happy to see that Jaqex is making nice updates to keep me entertained
