Interesting to see that I fall within the majority of players. I was pleased to see the "enjoy competition" (which I read as "kill each other&quot ;) question fell so far down the list.

The polls are interesting and I look forward to them.

I'm surprised that I'm in a relatively small group of players who have been playing for 1-2 years. However, I'm not surprised that a lot of people love the Lore and quest lines. :)

Recently, I lost 93m due to a hacker. I have no virii, and they guessed my pin, which is guessable, when you're technologically advanced.

4 days later, I don't know what's keeping me back into this game... do i renew membership? do i not? The thing is, losing 5 years worth of hard work of my bank is so devastating, i took a sick leave from school. I have hardly any clan/RS friends, and i socialise to an extent... But what's my real motivation to come back?

I don't know. Give me one, Jagex.


Is this nothing but addiction?

right now i'm at 5-6 years of gameplay (on my 2nd account) and im looking foward to be in thosse who are in the 6+ gear of gameplay. rs vets ftw? :)

Agree to above. It's weird though how polls are getting more and more friendly, and you're giving several options for the same answer. You're also giving too many 'idk' answers and that's just making the player click that instead of really thinking about the poll and how they play RuneScape. You put up answers that are barely related to RuneScape and people just choose them because they're funny, and that gets in the way of truly helping Jagex understand how we feel about this game.

As a player of 4 years, in and out of membership, I really enjoy Runescape for the variety and diversity of tasks and skills. I don't really enjoy the grinding of some skills, but I do feed a sense of accomplishment when I complete a quest or raise a skill to a milestone (just got 75 wc last week, that felt good!).

As for being in the game, I enjoy the visuals of the game interface, but I never feel like I'm running in Varrock or chopping wood in Seer's Village. If I were actually feeling what my Avatar was going through, I'd be really, really tired! I am really focused on the current task, my family thinks I am ignoring them, as I'm always thinking "what's next? I need to do this next, then do that..."

Thanks for a truly fun game for a player that normally works solo. I am on infrequently, and never online long enough at one time, but I very much enjoy being a part of RuneScape.
