i am very happy about the new poll, and am very glad that jagex is concerned with why people play the game. it makes me feel like the people of jagex really care about the players of runescape as much as we care about the game. thank you very much.

My main motivation is clue scrolls. I want to get some better armor and it's a fun and easy way to get cash. What bothers me is how rare they are. I wish they weren't as rare as they are. I've had to train for extended periods of time and haven't gotten many of them. As a motivating factor, without them, I'm more likely to play games like counter strike and starcraft. I mean level three clue scrolls too. More monsters should drop them.

This week's poll provided a very interesting insight into the different ways in which players choose to play and enjoy RuneScape, and the ways that they feel about the game. The results of the poll will be really interesting, so I'll be sure to check them later this week to see how they have progressed. Great poll ^_^ .

I am really pleased to see such frequency in RuneScape polls now; it seems that not a week goes by where a new poll is not added. I am really impressed at just how keen Jagex are to gather feedback from their players, so many thanks. :)

It's nice to see that Jagex is using this thread, and with it the poll, to get to know what the players think about the game and why they keep playing the game;

A little extra info on one of the questions:
About the 'how do you see your character?'-question: Well, for me, it's the main character of some kind of story I made up in my mind, though it needs some rethinking with the creation of the Signature Heroes (a very good idea!), and the character is me if you look at the inside. On the outside, well, I don't really know how I came to produce my character, it totally doesn't look like me :P

Because i can get mods to respond to any of my threads i have 1 question that may be off topic but it is good. Are u ever going to change the wallpaper back to normal runescape? It is very distracting and not so attractive. Please respond. Is the new wallpaper permanent?
