I don't realy use the forums too much, but since you asked it so nicely in the previous poll, here I am.

I realy like polls, it makes runescape alot more interactive.

I would realy like another guaranteed content poll about quests. For example: what storyline should we make another quest for, or what rewards would you want for a certain quest or ...
you get the point :P

I actually play RS for many reasons, most were listed in the poll. I am an adult player and my 3 boys have started playing. I enjoy watching them evolve as a player. From standing in GE and trying to buy and sell for money to working the skills.

Number 1.

Polls are used to collect a percentage of players opinion about what ever the polls topic is.

i have noticed in the past that most polls offer a selection of answers that are all based upon a positive.

Its rare that players get to poll their opinion against something in a negative way.

the only clear example I have seen of Jagex allowing a "negative" poll was on the skills poll a few years ago,

Jagex asked "What is your LEAST favourite skill - Farming got pounced upon, and the Jagex removed this question from the poll before the poll had closed.

More polls should allow players the option to pass a negative verdict upon a discussion point. The only option we ever get is "none of above" or "other" - this is a wasted option, as there is no means to state your reason.

Therefore if Jagex dont want to publically offer a negative choice in a poll, would they offer a text box on the "other" choices, so players can summarise WHY they didnt select any of the offered choices.

Number 2

After easch poll has run its course, and the results have been digested, will Jagex consider posting a summary view of the poll, and what the results show to them as a company. This doesnt need to be a discussion thread, but would be nice to read Jagex's opinion on the actual result.

Emilee why don't you make more polls about upcoming updates.

Like the animation pack (do we want new looks yes, no or only if there is a way to switch between new and old looks)
I think it would have been good to do this before the scimitar and Longsword update.

I think if you do this with more updates it can prevent mass ranting like with the forum communities, D Scim look and castlewars armour enc.

You asked oh-so-very-nicely, so here's my post.

I think this poll (What's my motivation) was a very nice one. I like the ones about how you play and what kind of things you like. I think a few more guaranteed content and player-submitted polls could be used. I like how you seem to be incorporating more humour into the polls, a good idea to get more people voting. Don't stop (believing, hold onto that feeling) putting humour and other good ideas into the polls.
