If you promise to let me leave, I will gladly give you some of my wisdom =).


1. Loved the most recent poll, it was fun, and you used lots of humor, keeps me entertained while also picking my brain for more info on how to make the game better.


2. I suggest making polls that have humor mixed in with real questions. Important ones such as account security, how to make the game better, and other stuff. If people have fun on the polls, it will make them visit them more often so you can make everything better =).

Well personally I think there needs to be a poll with custom answers or rather a poll that once someone answers one way, the option to choose that answer pops up, much like a "choose your state" menu. This way you can get a large variety of answers.

If you wanted too, you could have the pmod team sort the answers into piles of different answers for you. Remember though, mods feel pain too, so use an Abyssal Whip to encourage them to work harder muahahah!

The newest poll, regarding why players continue to play was interesting. I enjoyed reading the results. I was surprised to learn that most people who replied to the poll had been playing about as long as myself, 3-4 years. I joined in mid or late August of 2006, and am fast approaching the entry into my fifth year. I am no longer member, or P2P if you will, but I am still active in the RuneScape community of the Forums. I am rarely ingame anymore, but pride myself on a skill in the 80s. My post count is around 7 or 8 thousand these days, and have already surpassed some of my good friends. Really I'm very much in Role-Playing, and when I started in late February, early March, my post count was around 1,500. In June, on average, I made more than two hundred posts a day. But basically, now days I'm sticking around for the Forums, which has replaced the ingame part in my heart. I'd like to thank you guys for helping me to improve my writing skills.

i like this recent poll cos it is excactly the kind of poll i like to answer. ;) i really like the question What do you think keeps you coming back to RuneScape i said the quests and the lore and the storyline. becuase i love the quests so much i make another character to do them all over again and i have done every nonmemb quest more than twice with othr players i have made. and just a question is it actually legal to have another account??????? please be legal or else it wouldnt be fun cos i like doing it over and over. :P .

i also like the question Roughly how long have you been playing RuneScape? cos i have been waiting to answer that. and i finnaly have. :)

This poll was great because it's kind of what I'm going through.. not so much time to play RuneScape, but it reminds me about what I've done over 5-6 years and how I've been on and off of the game.

I enjoy interaction with other players.

As anyone who has seen a large number of my posts would testify, my main peeve is in the Moderator system. Namely; that (1) it does not encourage fair, reasonable, peer-to-peer conversation, (2) that it does not give Mods any special interest in the well-being of the community, and (3) that the symbols/titles affixed to said volunteers tend to distract from healthful discussions rather than build on them.

With the set-up, there seems (more and more) to be a great divide between groups, rather than a community of peace, fair treatment, and respect.

Regarding the question of game-play time, one may notice that 3-4 years was the most common choice.

Consider the type of gameplay nurtured during that time. If such can be replicated - or, at least, encouraged in future updates, maybe newbies will become the majority again. :)

Well as for me the poll kind of reflect, what runescape is to me now. I played RuneScape for more than 6 Years, so i pretty much done everything in F2P and a little in Members. Nothing else left to do in F2P....lol

I stay mainly because of friends.
