16. Have you ever given up training a skill? If so, which one?
SUMMONING.
It is a very useful and great skill, but frankly there comes a point where the need for charms is extremely high, the costs continue to go up even with pouch sawpping, and most of the new familiars are combat ones.
Combat familiars can only be used in a handful of places and minigames- compared to beasts of burdens and healers- which can be used almost anywhere.
On top of that- getting charms from skilling methods have been sad to say the least. Thieving from chests (including rich ones) is a huge waste of time, since you only get 10 charms if you're lucky.
Hunting charm sprites is a pain and yields very few charms, as do spirit imps.
Besides charms and money- there have been very few new pets that have interested me. At 75 summoning the only pets I'd like are monkeys, and I'll never get to 95 lol.
It took me over 70 tried for 1 phoenix eggling (and others over 200 tries!!!).
Pets are great, but I am picky. The tooth creatures are bland. The phoenix are cute and colorful but take way too much effort.
I have also given up on agility. You go round and round, failing and failing. It makes no sense that to train agility you need to lower your health super low at a difficult course or grind your life away at a slightly easier course.
Some of the short cuts are useful, but I hate that skill so much I have lost the desire to deal with it anymore. Agility will most likely always be my lowest skill.
