15. What more could we be doing to better support the RuneScape community
1 listen to your members not just your accountants.
2 If you are going to bring back game content such as FT then try a bit harder to support people who are hit by the excesses of rwters, hackers, scammers etc.
3 stop punishing people who have had their accounts hacked then botted by the hacker then rolledback by you.
4 have a better system whereby people can contact you directly if you are not going to allow appeals.
5 sort out the lag.
6 be stricter with people who flame on the forums.

What more could we be doing to better support the RuneScape community?
Answer:
1. I miss being able to contact Jagex moderators using that old messaging system you used to have. It was the fastest and easiest way for me to get help with my problems.
2. Jagex is a big company. I'm sure you'd be able to afford sending a few Jagex Moderators around from country to country to promote the game? Hosting real life events in multiple countries, where fellow RuneScape players could meet up with Jagex Mods, and each other - and interact with each other.

1. I think making alot more forum improvements and widen the use of it to appeal everyone is a huge start, more forum content
2. Encourage more suggestive content from the players ie like the free trade content vote.

Define community first? I think of a community as a group of individuals working to achieve a common goal of advancement, but in the last 2 weeks you have ripped a huge hole in that type of community. Suddenly the worts parts of RS "society" have been given the freedom to run wild in the game and do just about whatever they want with no repercussions. No community survives by ignoring "criminal" practices. You can either have JUST a GAME, or a COMMUNITY. RS is becoming JUST a GAME... and it can't really compete with other "just a games" out there.

A simpler answer: get rid of the damned bots for starters :o
