Quests mostly. I used to have more time, and I haven't had enough time to skill recently.
I also wish to not play WoW, and tell others that there other MMORPG's that are fun and not WoW.

14. Why do you play RuneScape?
This is a question I've thought about frequently. If I had to boil it down to one reason, its the sense of annoyance I'd feel leaving something half done...
Other reasons include constant change. Especially things that RADICALLY change the game. Most of those involve new armour/weapon releases, and of course plot continuation. I want to hear the end of the story! :O

It's a vast landscape, full of many things to do, skills, quests, mini-games, distractions and diversions and the content is constantly changing. You never know what the next weeks update will bring and, while it is not always my cup of tea, it's always appreciated just for the effort that the team at Jagex is putting behind it. Great game.

I play runescape because I've invested so much time into the game that i can't stop. it's like an addiction. But hey, I love the game to all ends. Plus friends and people to chat with make the game fun as well

Last question I'm afraid. My dad's gonna kick me off after this. :(
Why do you play RuneScape?
I play for fun, and because it's constantly updated. There's so much to do. I like boss hunting (even the only bosses we get in f2p are dungeoneering bosses... No complaints about those though!) and fighting things... But mainly its the quests. Quests are the most awesome thing on runescape.

it was only a beta version *AGES* ago...there were no members yet...but i was a text-based quester playing on an EARLY gui verion of Mozilla on a Windows 3.11 OS *cackling madly!*
i found it through searching and searching for an interactive questing-based game... there were only 2 search engines available back then and finding things with great specificity was time-consuming and difficult.
i've always loved (and at times temporarily hated) this game--but i'll always play it as long as it remains available and holds true to Gower's original ideals regarding the player-base, morals, and player feedback.
Respectfully,
