I don't really know when! I was like, 10 years old, maybe 9 when I started playing. Someone might have told me about it. I really don't know.
edit: I remember! I think I was on AddictingGames and saw it there.

I first heard about runescape from my cousin. That was when i created my first account wich i didn't even complete the tutorial because it seemed boring. But then my friend Matt told me to play it and i said ok i'll give it another shot. That was the moment i started runescape. I now even have named my first cat on runescape Matt in honor of my friend.

Forever ago (years and years and years), my cousin's wife suggested it to me to see if I'd let my oldest play (at the time, he was the only old enough for age requ). Since then, all my kids play. :D

My daughter's boyfriend (at the time). He was over at the house and I saw him playing it and asked him about it. I was playing AD&D Pool of Radiance at the time, but when i finished that game I tried Runescape and havn't played anything else. I am glad he showed it to me. :P

13. Where did you first hear about RuneScape?
That'd be my brother. We both started playing at the same time about 6 years back when he came in and said that his friend had recommended it to him. We spent the entire first day reading the manual and being blown away at the vast number of things you could go out and do.
It was our first MMORPG, after we'd both played a long line of Roguelikes and RTSs.

I first heard of Runescape from a friend of mine - he had been recommending the game to me for a while, but I didn't have the chance to play it. Although, when I did start playing Runescape, I really enjoyed it. :)
