11. Are you a member of a clan? If so, how did you join it? If not, why not?
Yea i am part of a pking clan but we barely pk lol
so its basically a clan chat full of friends :P P
I was asked to join when pking with them as a guest

I'm a member of a skilling clan. After I received 99 Agility, the leader of the clan wondered if I wanted to join. I saw him training Agility on the same course as I did, so we did briefly know each other. :)

Actually, yes. I met a guy at the GE one day, became friends with him, he asked me to join his clan. I said no, cause I wasn't one for clans. Him and the clan leader kept bugging me, bugging me, finally I said yes, joined and the rest is history. Over a year later, some moving and shuffling of people, but we're still a close knit bunch :)

I was a member of a clan once, a person I met in runescape suggested it to me( I was the first and only member) anyway, that clan leader and I became great friends, but eventually he quit runescape and I never saw him again.
I would really like to join a clan though, I'm going to head over to the clan recruitment threads soon. Clans and groups of friends make the game infinitely better.

Yes I am a member of the clan. Hence my access to the clan forums ;)
How I joined is very complicated. My Bestfriend had a boyfriend on rs who they met in a clan. That boyfriend then found out about me through social networks and started asking about my bestfriend and I asked about how he knew my bestfriend. I then asked if I could join the clan. I found out a lot ;) . Recently 2 weeks ago the clan went through a big argument where they vented their anger at the clan leaders (I had risen to become a clan leader) So I recieved a lot of abuse and decided to leave them. A bunch of us started up a new clan so theres about 6 of us as new leaders for this clan. We are learning from our mistakes and it is doing very well (reached 40 clan members in 2 weeks). =)
