Yes. However each time I tried they keep referencing RSC when they first played. I don't have good persuasion in person apparently.

I would recommend this game to anyone. Runescape is a fun ice breaker for people new to gaming. Even someone who has played games all their life (like me) can find much enjoyment in it. As a result, I have found myself telling loads of people about the online sensation. (it is a sensation)

After actually thinking about this - surprisingly... no!
Most friends played it before me and then I started playing. Others then joined because we were playing - we didn't "recommend" it as such.
Anyone else that plays it that I know - just would have seen me playing and have tried it out I guess.

I do have a few close friends I play with, and that has made a world of difference. I probably wouldn't play runescape if there were no irl friends to play with.
And the thing about runescape ppl complain the most about is the repetition and how bad the graphics are compared to most games.
