Yes. I know a few people in real life that play. I was actually introduced to RuneScape through a few of them.
I've also got my brother to start playing, even though he has no idea what to do. ;p

yup I recommend rs a lot. I'm 18 so I'm one of the older players when I mention the game they all said they used to play it years ago and it was crap. I then explain what things have changed and its suprising how many get into it and enjoy it =)
I also got my brothers playing.

No not really. My sister and brother got me hooked on RuneScape roughly 7 years ago back in Fall of 2004. They since have moved onto other video games while I hold down the fort till they return.
If not, why not?
Lets face it, RuneScape may be "The No.1 Free Online Multiplayer Game" but in my honest opinion, the game RuneScape isn't a popular game to talk about where I live at. Most people play XBOX live, PS3, or much larger internet games; and frown upon RuneScape because they see it as a browser based child's game.

Yes. My cousin told my brother about it. Then my brother told me about it. Then I told my other brother and my second-cousin to play it. My family is full of RuneScape heads. :P

I also told two of my friends to play, and they've loved it ever since.
