This wonderful game CONTINUES to march toward extinction with each of these blatant faults.

Why are we hearing about this YEARS late? It does not take two years to broadcast technical limitations in the game engine. You own the product - please exercise FLUENCY in boundaries of implementation.

It seems as though we are steering time and resources toward more 'profitable' game updates, hmmm? I don't fault you for that - you are running a business after all. But bear in mind - as the foundational components of the game begin to show their age, you WILL NEED to tend to them. Else you risk stunting the growth of future updates.

I would be lying if I said that the bank rework was not a reason that I returned to the game after a lengthy hiatus.

I'm sorry, but my patience was exhausted ages ago.

It's especially risky, as to the engine all inventories are practically the same thing. Shops, worn equipment, beast of burden, bank, etc... are all the same thing at the core. Game scripts generally define the behaviour for the inventories. That means making a change in the engine to support bank features doesn't just have the potential to break the bank, but practically the entire game.

Honestly this is the most important bit of information that can be extracted from here. It goes to all those who are more mad that Jagex "broke" A promise over looking at the core issue.

If Jagex went along with this update and something went wrong, everyone will be like " This update was not ready! why did you launch it and break the game". So they decided to postpone it and people are still mad at the decision.

I would rather have a update that is shelved over an update that is broken.
