There's very minimal differences to that vs how clans decide their leadership. It's down to the owners of it to decide how they're organized and ran. If someone believes that to be unfair, then it’s their own personal decision to join/leave that group to find another that fits them better.

Every group is going to run things their own way: some will have them where the owner makes every decision, some have co-owners, some groups have a team of leaders.

It's going to vary, and the decisions are made based on the needs of the server, clan, guild, etc.

Once again, i can see this being "unfair" in a way due to ppl just not liking someone.

I mean what if someone shows they can act properly for a lead role but gets turned down due to this issue?

Honestly bro, I am known on the forums for being not well liked in the eyes of a lot of people due to perceived arrogance and an overly brash posting style, and yet I was staffed.

It's not a matter of it being a popularity contest. If they're good for the role, then they're good for the role. There's really no getting around that, really.

Its time to get back on topic.

Similar to clan recruitment threads, it isn't appropriate to make a post discouraging others to join. If you have some sort of dispute you wish to bring up, doing so privately rather than airing it out on the forums is best. If you may have had an experience that you feel was not up to par, its best to move on from that and find a different group that you feel suits your needs best and to focus on that group, rather than focus on what you didn't like about a prior group.

And, if you feel like you don't have anything nice to say, then its probably best not saying anything at all.
