Hi everyone,

I just want to echo a message we've sent to the FMod's recently on the status of replies to your review requests.

Firstly, apologies for not reviewing these sooner. We've been in the process of extending support for FMR's to our Local Moderators, however, this has taken longer than expected and regrettably coverage of this important thread has slipped.

In the interim we will be reviewing your posts, please bear with us - if we haven't responded to your original post and you have yet to receive a satisfactory response, can you please quote the original message so we have all the details available when reviewing your message.

The FMod took the correct action hiding the thread. As well as this, reporting threats in game (rather than the Forums or contacting a JMod/ FMod) is the quickest way to send a message to Jagex, as it is filtered directly to the moderation team.

Do you have a page and post number for me to review the FMod comments, why they moved the thread?

Now due to the velocity of your messages I can’t seem to locate the specific thread(s). Would you be so kind to respond with them (QFC, page and post number) and I’ll carry out an investigation.

Moving threads as requests without the OP permission is being reviewed but is handled on a case by case basis at this moment in time. I’ve reviewed the moved/ locked threads and can’t see anything untoward at this moment in time. Of course if a thread was moved erroneously we’ll move it back and give feedback.

A frustrating situation was handled with care – Kudos to the FMod.

The FMods decision to lock the thread is just, as for specific users – I’m not aware of any bias, but we will keep an eye out and if you spot anything please post it here following the FMR template.

@Wilf
Regarding your thoughts about removing / expanding the FMod teams, Mod Meadows is on the case. In regard to the specific threads which were hidden I believe the actions were correct, but if you feel otherwise please respond back following the FMR format template.

We understand the current system isn’t perfect and we are considering solutions around our system limitations. I’m happy to pass on your suggestions, however, keep in mind with the updates ahead it may be on the back burner. I hope you understand.

Thanks for sharing your concerns and you’re right, we can do more to set expectation how to action certain situations, such as clan threads. With us extending our support to LMod’s we’re going through old processes with a fine cone to identify inconsistencies and put together a more formal action plan. Again, I apologies for delays as this is still all in process.
