Forum Help is, as the name suggests, for help with forum issues - there is unfortunately nothing at all that Forum Moderators can do to help you with in-game problems.

If you are unable to complete the event or use home teleport to escape from it, then I would suggest that you submit a bug report, either in-game or through the Support menu. This is absolutely the fastest way of getting the information to the people who can do something with it - but do please remember that it's still very early morning (before office hours) at Jagex HQ right now.
