slyfer you have a point i cant deny..however, the fact you played since classic and are still around with 2011 right around the corner the exp you should have should atleast be close to mine. just like the average player...ive quit, gone on breaks..no difference. accs from an older time should naturally have lots of total exp from gameplay.

The first years I just logged in to chat with mates. I didn't quite get exp back then. I started playing 'seriously' around 2005, but still with taking many breaks in between and not logging in for weeks. Its only shortly before the trade removal I've started playing this more goal-based, with my first 99 in 2007.
I saw this as a place to chat and hang with friends, not as a game to gather experience in for many years, explaining my low XP amount.
It depends on how you spend your time ingame, really. Even these days I can just stand at the GE and chat for hours, not doing something useful but just having fun.

I wonder how fast the bot community well increase in the first month and how many people are going to quit because of this. They already cant take care of the bot issues at dragons, imagine them at the magic trees, and bot mining. Im going to be laughing in the end.

clealy aya, because the whole 90% doesnt care about what you think so cast your rejected vote, loser. and slyfer..you cant claim RSC this and that, or even oldschool if your acc was simply jsut created then. what you pretty much said was you created a acc around the yr 01-02 im assuming and didnt get serious til 05? first 99 in 07? thats horrible. you may have been around for as long as i have but i dont consider you 'oldschool'. 07 i had more than 5 99s.

Purerange you shouldnt down people who have a life and dont play runescape 24/7 to level up like that :) . And my vote counts, just as much as the people voting Yes. And im sure the Yes percentage wouldnt be so high if ppl didnt create tones of new accounts and spammed it, I bet you whole clans are doing it. So again voting system blotched.

That's your opinion on how a game should be played then. I don't consider myself better or worse because I have more or less xp as somebody. I play the game to have fun, not to care about the opinion of other people on my account. Neither to care how much XP I'm getting now, or what goals I achieve on the way.
On a side-note, I don't get in what direction this discussion is going.
All I was about, was to give my opinion to Jagex.
