From my evaluation of the Poll so far, it seems the Wilderness and Free Trade will indeed be returning, which to be honest, isn't necessarily a bad thing, or at least isn't a bad thing as long as Jagex's detection system will actually be able to deal with any potential rule-breakers.
I, personally, voted "I don't mind either way", because honestly, I am, and always will be, a Skiller, Quester, and Player versus Monster activity, type of player. That being said, the return of the Wilderness and Free Trade would indeed affect me, most likely indirectly, but I honestly trust that Jagex will execute this reimplementation of the Wilderness and Free Trade in a manner we are unaware of, as in, perhaps there is more to this than what we see listed. I would assume there has been some considerable changes or progress in Jagex's rule-breaker detection system, so hopefully it will indeed be able to prevent or punish a majority, if not all, of players who choose to become a filthy cheater and illegitimately play RuneScape.
To be honest, upon first glance, this idea seemed very, very bad, not to mention, did not have enough information or details listed pertaining to how Jagex plans to deal with cheaters, or what measures they've taken in order to further combat Real World Traders, the filthy menace that once plagued RuneScape greatly. I have, of course, not spent much time researching this entire topic, so there may be some information somewhere provided by a helpful Jagex Moderator that could possibly answer my concerns.
There's one positive to this situation I adore though, and without dispute, is beneficial. The return of many former players has now strengthened the community, and it seems players are banding together as one force, almost like a family would to protect its child. Perhaps this is negative because the recent happenings also caused negative, rude, and immature players to return, but still, I feel as if the community has been reborn recently.
