I personally want BOTH back. But because some players just want one or the other back, I think that after this "Referendum" there will be another phase if the majority vote is "Yes" to bring it back. They should give three options in the next vote. These would be :
"I want BOTH back!"
"I want JUST FREE TRADE back!"
"I want JUST THE OLD WILDERNESS back!"
This would solve a lot of problems. Unless Jagex want to bring it all back anyway, regardless of votes. If that is the case, if there's still a majority vote to bring it back, Jagex will probably bring both back. At the end of the day, it's their game. They could do it without consulting us. They don't have to go to the trouble of a vote. But I think it's nice that they care enough about their players that they would. Even if you don't want these to return, the majority will speak and the majority will get what they wish for (or have wished for for 3 years now!) So either way, we can't complain. It doesn't have to be a democracy but Jagex have been kind enough to do so. If the majority want it back fine. If the majority don't want it back, that's fine also. As long as everybody gets their say, it's all good. Even if it doesn't return, I'm not bothered because I got my say and so did everybody else and it's a fair vote this time.
