Okay so you point out why the wildly should come back and Free trade because of ridiculous increase and drops in items' values. What do you think this update will do? Scammers will be back and players will be going bankrupt to the extreme. And without a GE setting max and low prices new players or people coming back to the game will be clueless to the value of an item. I'm sure even as a very experienced player i will end up selling an item to a person who teleport to another bank and is able to double my price which is very upsetting. Another point, rare items will sky rocket due to the fact that there will be no more drops of them in PvP. And i want to point out to all players who fail to remember this."
you think scammers are going to be market problem? and scammers never left. they're called merch clans. worst scammers in the history of runescape.
and as far as rare items dropping from pvp, what rares drop? phats, h'weens, santas, etc can't be dropped. the pvp world items will be attainable in a different way. a way that doesn't involve having to kill another player, which will mean price drops. you don't have to risk going to a pvp world, and most NPCs are counterable. so the price will drop, not skyrocket.
as far as the GE goes, it's one of the problems market wise. without it prices of everything will drop. nothing will go up. there will be NO MORE JUNK TRADING for one, and all prices will be player determined. they won't be able to manipulate the GE's algorithm to raise or lower prices
FTR, this char is from '01. stats don't show it due to infrequent play around guess which time? the removal of FT and wildy.

This update can be good, but only in moderation.
1.The wilderness has so many rare monsters in it that aren't found everywhere else, such as green drags, monsters in the volcanoe, and revanents.
2.Removing minimum and maximum price limits will completely destroy the economy. Somebody will try to sell a whip for 10m, and somebody will try to buy one for 500k.
3.I would like to be able to go to the wildy without dying!
Solutions:
1.Keep some world's wilderness as it is now (non-pk), so you can go to a certain world and not get attacked by other players in the wilderness.
2.reinstate free trade, but don't remove maximum and minimum limits on g.e.

how about we have a button you click if you want ot player kill and your character dot changes color in wildy so people know your a player killer and you can kill others with that same color dot.
if you dont activate the dot you dont want to pk and cant be attached and you have to activate it as you go in so you cant walk up on someone then do it?

yes i have been a loyal customer for about 8 years now i always pked in my younger days now that im older i lost intrest in the new pking system i think its rather ridiculous. If the new system does come back i am going to play again as the old pking was way better than it is now

1. People managed to deal with these problems before December 11th 2007, so I think we can deal with it now. You're just use to having it handed to you because it's so safe now.
2. It will actually stabilize the economy because items won't be disappearing in PvP like they are now. Also, wealthy players won't be able to buy out an item and hold it in their bank.
3. IT'S SUPPOSE TO BE DANGEROUS! IF YOU CAN'T HANDLE IT, DON'T GO THERE! PEOPLE DID IT BEFORE DECEMBER 11TH 2007. THIS GAME IS TOO EASY NOW.

You're having a real issues with this junk trading, that only exist because of trade limit, i want free trade too that will destroy the junk trading, but having a market of systems valuing items buy importing and exporting is a great structure for the game. Bring free trade, do something to the GE that will somehow co-exist with free-trade i am not sure how this will work but im sure they can think of something. Second are you crazy? If rare items, by which i ment rare items on the drop table of monsters, are no longer dropped by players then people will have to kill for the items which is not a fun task. Therefor less of these *tems will be imported to the players = prices rising. If you fail to do that math no wonder you're wanting free trade so much. You have clearly been scammed by the market which you need to realize merch by yourself. Scamming now is a realistic scam, you invest with a group of people there will be people unloyal to the investment and dump before hand, this is nothing compared to having items switched. Atleat now you have an agreement to invest before you had no idea what your money was being scammed into.
