No. Don't bring back what you have already fixed.
When Free Trade was removed I was actually very relieved. Something new called the GE made it so players wouldn't get scammed. Items that used to be hard to obtain could now be traded without massive spam and lag in world 1 and large amounts of items needed for skills such as runes and fish could be bought very easy. Scammers, botters, and many gold farmers were removed from the game causing it to be much more pleasurable when skilling.
If you bring back free trade and keep it along side the Grand Exchange, the economy will be hurt very badly. A lot of loot from Slayer and PvM which used to be sold at lowest to get rid of it quickly will no longer do so. This will cause potential junk in players banks that they don't need but no one will buy for mid price. Also if someone is trying to buy a rare, it used to buy for max so they get priority, however now without a max, you just have to wait in line and hope that someone else is selling large amounts of rares.
If this is to get rid of Merch Clans, well you made the Grand Exchange to represent the Stock Market, you warned players about these scamming clans. If they still choose to join them it their ignorance. Price fluctuation may cause some items to go over priced such as beads and as you pointed out earlier this year the Amulet of Accuracy. But again this represents real stocks.
Personally I have already felt the economic downfall. For example I had a lot of items that I was investing in hoping that they would rise, however when the referendum came up, these junk items that are usually merched, drop drastically and I lost millions, I am not saying that I want to stop this because of my personal reason. I just think a lot of other players have encountered same problems.
You introduced the Grand Exchange to make items obtainable and to represent the Stock Market. Don't destroy the Economy. If you reintroduce free trade, the Economy will fall...
