Wilderness and Free Trade Vote

There is a flaw in this voting . . . what is the skill/age distribution of the votes???
First of all, why would you reinstate a condition like free trade that proved to be an issue in the past? What is the definition of insanity . . . Doing the same thing over and over expecting a different outcome!
Secondly, why make the wilderness PVP across the board? It essentially means that you can't venture up there unless you are very high ranking - creating a huge void for those trying to level up. That would make the game boring for the lower level players and I think your renewing memberships would drastically suffer.
Why are the PVP worlds not enough, you might ask? Probably because nobody but the best players go there! You can't accidentally wander on to one.
What is the real goal with this? (1)To create more targets with unknown abilities or (2)To create more killers with unknown abilities?
(1)You may see more targets - unsuspecting players or those who venture up just because they are bored with the lower level monsters - but Jagex is going to lose revenue. It's not fun getting killed all the time. I only like it when its a calculated risk that I can train for and overcome. If the wilderness is that dangerous I just won't go there, which severely restricts my options for leveling up.
There is also a fundamental issue to me with killing a player versus a regenerating monster. Why do stronger players feel it necessary to kill lower level players to feel superior??? That's kind of sick . . . Go fight a bigger monster!!
This issue can be easily resolved by creating monsters with random skills. You don't need to compromise another player to make it more fun for others.
(2)If the higher level players are getting bored, create some monsters with random abilities - or a wilderness II with yet higher level monsters.
Or maybe you just have too many PVP worlds. Cut them back so there are more players per world.

Anyway folks, I am not here to argue; as I stated before, I merely popped in to voice my concerns about the direction this game is going. If someone wants to argue, call me names, shout at me and be generally abusive it just shows poor character and I guess that is typical for pk'ers. As for the rest of you, I wish you a very Happy New Year, and the best for 2011.
