It is with sadness that I read about the proposed vote. As a skiller, I remember hating the wild where predatory packs of pkers made it impossible for me to go about my business. With the return of pkers, certain activities will become a thing of the past for me: some penguins, wild rune rocks, KBD, clue scrolls, certain quests, the abyss, orb charging, fighting Bork and the beacon network, to name a few.
Yes, I can see the writing on the wall. The pker's wild will return. No, I will not quit playing Runescape. But my enjoyment will decrease and my trust in Jagex will decline. Many of the younger and newer players do not have the experience with the older wild to be able to vote with anything more than the urgings of those vocal pkers to base their decision on. Such is life...
I don't hate pkers... just the way they are allowed to determine what I actually do while on Runescape. Give them their own worlds and let me work on mine.

Whether I vote yes or no won't change anything, it's all just one big pubicity stunt to try to win back the older crowd of players who'd left after 2007. The update is inevitable
Honestly, I hope that this update would bring some of the 'good old' community back to RS. Several of my own friends stopped playing because they couldn't PK anymore. I stayed in for a few years until the quality of updates started to slip, and may come back to the community after this update, to see how things are faring.

Maarek0 has obviously never played any MMORPGs. Nor does he have any comprehension of the success of the game when players were given their rights to trade and PK. And stop mentioning bots. This has nothing to do with them. There are more bots now than there have been in ages.

It's very clear for me that lots of people on this poll are people who voted "NO".
I understand parts why you guys do this. You think probably that that way the only way is to rescue "your" Runescape.
But JAGEX won't be stupid (I think), if they have to choose for 90% of the players or just a poor 8% of the players, their decision will be fast made (I THINK).

Im for one is for old wild/free trade.
and for the for people who are worried about lures/scammers they really need think about stuff before they do it or jegax just can post a video on the front page about lures/scammer making it easy for new people to understand these things.

Hmm, Jagex actually said they would relocate almost all the things you just mentioned, as well as the fact that the wild is meant to be dangerous and people need to learn to deal with it.

You know i have difficulty seeing the issue of a bunch of players having left after these went away... I mean runescape doesnt seem to be having trouble with too few people playing. ALot of people have been arguing that people left after free trade and the wildy was gone, but ya know we seem to be doing just fine without them here to "Stimulate" the economy.

I for one am glad that the old pking is coming back, I do like the free trade also because i enjoy giving my friends gifts they could not so easily afford. I am however concerned that there might be the chance that hundreds of RWT's and Bots are coming back into the game. BUT! I think that over the years Jagex has put together some form of a bot identification method and if confident that it will battle the bots/RWT's.
Therefore, I voted yes to Free trade and Old Wilderness-PKing.
