I think we definitely need 'Safe Wildy' worlds, with no PKers. Maybe still with Revenants, but compared to PKers, Revenants are as much threat as a small suicidal pigeon. I support, really, although I don't really mind either way - I didn't play when the old Wild was around, and I'm very bad at PKing. As long as the bots and RWT can be handled its all good.

Thats a horrible logic. Why stay out of the wildy? Its like preety much a place i love to visit, and not to get pked. I Like killing green and red drags, venturing through, slaying a few revs and stuff. I dont see why i should stay out of it just because of the obligations of others! 8% of 360k, need i remind you is more than 45K of Runescapians, and that is still alot. This form of majority decisions isn't good because it is jagex and jagex themselves who are responsible in taking the pros and cons, and if you ever did, you'd realise this is a bad idea. A community vote should only help put the idea into ****ideration, but not act as a final decision. Jagex has more experience, while the players voting yes just want a bit of the old days back. I suggest that jagex should take into consideration the major work such as the relocating which would really complete change the way runescape works. Why should not trade with others obligations? Why should 45k suffer because of 315k other people who just want to ruin the lives of others and relive the past? Why make the past the future? living in the present is the best idea, and pvp and bounty hunter worlds serve as pking alternatives, so i dont see why the old wilderness is needed? There is no reason to have this dead wilderness back in our life and collapse the structure of rs. I say that jagex should rethink this and follow a proper decision. Democracy may be important, but lets say that more than half of america disagreed with disarmament. Obama still won't let down, particularly because he was doing what was good, and not basing the nations future on a mere vote. I call for a rethink!

Dear Jagex,
i voted yes for this but after reading what others said about this n this forum, im having second thoughts. ive been scammed out of 200k as a noob (a lot for me back then :( ), and i have a freind whoes been hacked like 10 times!!! i see botters every day where i make money!! i dont want to be hacked and all these player caused problems and things against the rules will increase by A LOT! i wasnt here for old wildy and free trade, started a bit later, but i met a guy irl who hacked someone back then and stole hunreds of party hats and bils of more in stuff form his ccount and with a friend split it between them. O_o also im in the middle of the cb lvl chain, not a newb but not a very high lvl player either, and i love doing lvl 3 clues(now called hard clues), but tey always take me through deepw wildy. revenants are bad enough!! (a lvl 75 is more like lvl 100) but with so amny strong high lvled pkers out there ill lose my stuff and my clue!! at least limit the pvp zones in the wildy would help with that and relocate activities and clue scroll spots so thye are all out of pvp spots, and if old wildy does return, losing revs, or limiting them to smaller places would be nice :D though old wildy ide also sounds nice so i still support it and i lveo free trade idea. they both make the game more life like. i mean in the REAL world, you can be attacked or killed anytime. a car can hit you, a robber shoots you, if you wana give away $30billionyou can. there are no "safe" spots where you atre always danger free. in runescpae most of it we are safe from players killing us. old wildy would make this more realistic too by having more spots for pvp then just pvp or bounty worlds. if you die i would still like to see your 3 most valuable itms saved and the rest the killer gets
RECAP: my biggest concern is not getting my clues done safely as lnog as i can do that ill be satisfied =D, oh stay unhacked =D
P.S im a very bad typer so sorry if anything is mispelled

I'm loving these people who didn't play Runescape before 2008 thinking the Wilderness should be theirs to have a run about and kill dragons.
HAH, Sorry to inform you but that is not what the Wilderness was originally made for, and if not for the bots using stolen credit cards it would still be how it was before the 10/12/07, I'm sure everyone remembers the significance of that date.

Jagex is making a smart move in doing this. Many thousands quit with the RWT updates, and now they're going to hopefully come back, and many of the current players are going to be satisfied and probably play more, and pay for membership now as well. There is nothing wrong with the ability to trade what you want, when you want, and there is nothing wrong with the old wildy. Hence why it was such a huge disaster when we had the RWT updates a few years ago.
The only people who are complaining are the ones who are afraid of PvP. It is and was relatively easy to explore the wildy/do stuff in the wildy without ever even seeing another player. If you did, you'd run, wearing nothing but lightweight stuff, or you'd stand and fight. It was risky, but fun, but the risk was hardly even there.
If there were other players around ready to kill you, LOG OFF, switch worlds, simple as that. Jagex is willing to sacrifice 8% of its players for 90% approval if that's what it has to do. I'm completely satisfied with these updates, as long as they don't try to nerf them somehow. I want it exactly how it was in 2006 and 2007, etc.

I still think we should have a choice to be in a PKer-filled Wilderness or a safer, Revenant-filled Wilderness.
I respect the fact that Jagex are making a very clever move, business-wise, but as Elven pointed out, there are thousands of players who would be dissatisfied with the update. Do Jagex want players to return to RuneScape, only to have a large amount leave at the same time?
Personally, I wouldn't quit, but I'm sure many would consider it. Soooo, give us a lil bit of a choice ;) . Like some worlds are LootShare, some should be Safe Wild.
