the reason rwt was such a hassle is not because of people just breaking the rules. dont get me wrong, breaking the rules is bad but what happened is that the company was losing tons of money to these victims of Rwt since the easiest way to purchase things online is by credit card. these credit card numbers were taken by the sites and then used repeatedly racking up huge bills thus causing all these people to ultimately end up suing the game. If jagex focuses more on cracking down on these websites and less on the players then im sure we can all be happy.

Ok. i have been playing for a couple of years now. * may only be level 43 but that's because i go into the WILDERNESS. every little while, i go and organize a party or event for my clan,and my friends. how can we go into the wilderness if we are going to get killed by random-arse players? i like the wilderness the way it is, servers dedicated to wilderness fighting. now, free trade on the other hand,i like. i have friends who try to give me gifts, and cant. also occasionally i die because of a bug, scammer or a stupid random event that teleports me into an area full of hostiles that are a higher level than me. now when that happens, my friends will give me the gift of gold, unfortunately they always have to wait, and wait, and wait. i think that we need a voting system that makes SENSE TO EVERYONE.i mean OMG, GTO of here if you are stupid enough to put a vote that votes for two things. or maybe im wrong. scratch that, TOO LAZY. ever hear of effort for more than graphics and interface? i mean DUH it takes more work to read posts from INTELLIGENT PEOPLE (like me and a few others who know not to press the button, and read before they do press the button)than it does to make a voting sytem like this:

is it really that hard? you guys put a lot of effort into the graphics, the multiplayer, the story and the interface. but you guys really screwed up with this time. im going to give you all, THE LOOK now

I want the wilderness and free trade to come back... I'm tired of seeing lvl 72's with like 12m from killing green drags and the worst stats imaginable.. And free trade was awsome, don't you agree? And for all of you noobs saying that "If free trade comes back people will get scammed again" Are stupid. If you're a cautious player this won't happen! Theres red Exclamations, And you can see the items you're trading TWICE! Just think about it*

I think the free trade and wilderness coming back is a great. It will bring back a bunch of players. A lot of people i know quit playing Runescape when they came out with Limited trade and no "risky" wilderness. What Jagex should do, i think, is to take away limited trading, and have it free again, but still have an estimated amount of gold that each side is trading. This way new players and experienced players wont be scammed near as easily. I know when i first started playing, that there was a scam of people selling a burnt chicken, worth next to nothing, for large amounts of cash and saying it was a rare black chicken. lol

nowadays, thats not how there scammed ******. what the do is get payed for sumtin like body-guarding, and then run off and leave the persin to die, then report the person who pyed them for varioous things, just so any complainta wont be taken into account by moders.
