Dear Jagex,
Thank you for asking the community if they want to have free trade and the old wilderness back, its nice to be included in on big decisions.
However, I believe your poll is flawed for several reasons, which concerns me for the outcome of the poll. First, you do not require us to log on to vote. By not requiring us to log on, you allow dishonest people to take other player's names and use them to vote without the owner of the name's permission.
Also, your poll only has a yes, lacking a no to select, calling for people against going back to the old ways to boycott the poll instead. This leads to major flaw, as any player who says they will not vote opens up their player name to be stolen and voted for by aforementioned dishonest players. I personally am boycotting the poll, so if my name is on the list of voters, then someone has stolen my player name.

I'm quitting if they come out with free trade. As it will change the G.E. prices dramatically. Merchants will be able to control the prices and make everything crash or sky rocket.
Effects:
-More bots
-Scamming
-Hacking because buying cash from websites
As for the wilderness:
if it is to be put back in the wilderness,revs should be further back in the wildy or something.
Besides that, friend trade and trade limit I'm fine with.
You can always trade junk? What's wrong with that?

Wow, I've never seen it so clearly demonstrated (assuming that MMH-attributed stuff isn't fake) how full of it Jagex Senior Staff is.
I've given them the benefit of plenty of doubt til now on poorly designed and tested content (Cryptic Clue Fests spring to mind), but how anyone could expect us to buy that stuff about the poll having "teething problems", or that it's *** fake...
Sorry, sell that to your middle school customers, not to the MANY sensible adults that have posted on this thread. A HIGH SCHOOLER could have designed a poll that was fairer than this... drek. No rational person can conclude that the intention of this poll was to honestly gauge interest in the proposed regression of trade and PVP rules. I can't tell which of several competing theories IS the real purpose it was designed the way it was, but... GUYS!... We KNOW you people know how to make polls! You do it all the time.
All this kind of obfuscation does is diminish mature people's interest in your game. If you want to reduce the average age of your players for some reason then I'd say you're pursuing the right strategy.

For everybody saying this will re-introduce RWT , RWT has never left.. as long as its an MMO there will be RWT no matter what.Every game , every mmo i should say has some type of gold farmers, RWTs.As jagex has said they have evolved their methods of catching botters and cheaters, etc. and for people saying they are going to get scammed.. how? you dont have to give someone your items.. and people saying they are going to get lured in the wild..its called the wilderness for a reason.. i dont know why people are even complaining at this point.. if you don't pk wilderness wont effect you in any way if it returns. and if you like to make money and merch why wouldn't you like free trade?
