OMFG... STOP MAKING US WAIT IF U GONNA GET ON WITH THE UPDATE THEN GET ON WITH IT ALL THE PLAYERS ARE WAITING ANXIOUSLY FOR THIS UPDATE AND STILL NO WHERE TO BE UPDATED PLEASE GIVE A SPECIFIC DATE ABOUT WHEN THIS UPDATE WILL TAKE PLACE SO WE CAN WAIT IN PLACE BUT NOT WAIT IN VAIN !

I personally can say, runescape will be better with free trade and the old PvP system. sure there will be scamming.. that's part of the game. I've been scammed a time or two, i know how it feels. it sucks but at the same time it makes me pay more attention to whatever i am doing. As for PvP, well thats what i am mostly excited about. Absolutely nothing beats the rush of you ***hting someone who has full dharok, or a AGS, and well knowing you have a chance to get those items if you kill that player. I am 100% for bringing both those things back. There will be more scamming, more luring, and more bots..... Thats ANY game. Free trade and old pking will give more to us players in a whole. the game will change.. but i believe it will change for the better.

Jagex if you see this post please read it carefully.
This is in response to all the people saying this update will bring back botters in "masses". I strongly disagree with this.

Most people who have been saying this, have never used a bot or even know anyone who has used a bot. I happen to know alot about the botting underground of Runescape and have been playing this game for a very long time.I might know a little bit more than your average Joe.

I think reinstating free trade and old wilderness will not bring back very many bots because they never left. Do think they gave up? Little to most peoples knowledge the botting community is alive and healthy. You have thousands off Autoers picking flax, chopping ivy, making planks, ect. I saw 5 yesterday infact.

What this update WILL bring to the table is scammers. However you (Jagex) have made several updates to prevent scamming. Also for the people losing their pass you have to be pretty dimwitted. Do you give out your IP to anyone that asks or how about your social security? Jagex has also mad e many various updates for people that this happens to. What about recovery questions did you give the answer away too. If so I don't blame the scammer for going after you.

Enough of my ranting. I think you guys are fully prepared for this and it might be the best time to bring it back. Allowing for many old players such as my self and I dont mean those two year runescapers calling them selves vets the real veterans of runescape.
This might be 1 in a million messages but I hope you see it.

I've seen it been mentioned a few times that there needs to be a specific number of votes to get wilderness + free trade back? I haven't saw that included in the poll or anywhere else, ranging from 1.2 million to 3 million votes in favour of it. Shouldn't it just be the majority of votes? (51%+)

I vote yes to free trade but i extremely hate wilderness as constant pvp. Cause my brothers told me that when they played runescape years ago they thought it was stupid because the best players stood outside waiting for weak people to come along. besides isnt that the reason you created pvp worlds.There are a lot of good things in the wilderness that i wont be able to do anymore if this wilderness update gets voted yes but, as i said i LOVE free trade but pvp wilderness will ruin the fun free trade will give! :(

Omg really can we like..... Get this going really fast I'm very every one want's the trade back and wildy but come on we know the wildy is going take around one month to establish but Can we like have the free trade now.. i mean like I'm very positive it's a little work then the wilderness because u have to remove stuff and take out bunch of junk all I'm trying say is I my self and the whole community of RuneScape Enjoy this update but we already have the votes the majority is 90% so I'm just saying can we have free trade any sooner i Garnette you half of the people quit will come back in a heartbeat if you do this anytime sooner the wilderness is alot of work i bet it's a 3 year lost you trying fix but I'm positive the free trade isn't that hard to get back. Anyways I hope One of you mod's read this I know it's really hard but yeah could make the free trade any sooner? Plus majority of The 90% probably want's the Trade back more then the wilderness that's my thought.

The thought of mabey someone walking up to me and say "heres a free party hat". gets me a little exited. although it is kind of unfair because poeple had to work for this st00f and then all of a suden im getting upstaged because a newb with 65 def. got a bandos chestplate from his older brother. thats not cool
