How does a "vote for 20 times if you want, but only vote yes!" a player based descision? O_o , the whole thing seems like a joke, but you can never know with you guys anymore :@
If this is real, I honnestly think the end result is semi-pre-decided. This will proably make a nice amound of people quit tbh, both if it's real or if it's a joke.
EDIT: I'm aware that jagex mods have said that it's not a joke, but if it was, they would still say that? I remmeber their april fools joke, can't remmber what they said on that tough :L.

Why should players such as myself get killed by sad people who solely play just to kill others? Why should we not have the ability to do clue scrolls safely? Why should we not be able to fight Green Drags safely?
You say pay to pk, but you don't have to pay. Jagex gets funds from advertisements and other ventures. If you pay, you choose to, and thereby you accept the game for what it is.
This 'Pay to PK' lark wouldn't stand up in an argument nevermind a court.
So, if you want the old wildy back, then just go to a pvp world and kill there.
If old wildy is brought back, I just hope it won't be on every world.
Quit your whining and quit thinking you're entitled. You DON'T HAVE TO PAY, and as I said Jagex gets funds from advertisers, other ventures, and players who pay knowing they like the game.
Get a grip, find a real case with evidence, otherwise don't voice an opinion to such an extent that it sounds meaningful.
*sigh* Kids...kids...they don't know the ball today.

I do not understand this vote. Why is this being done this way? I understand that to visit the page is a yes vote, and there is no way to vote no. Also there is no log in requirement, so anyone can vote under anyone's name? Is this true? Jagex has a voting system in place that they have been using, why didn't they use it for this? This sounds like we are being railroaded. What say you Jagex?

Reverting to the "old" wilderness cedes vast portions of the game to gangs of pkrs, and would make certain quests, boss hunting, treasure trails and mini-games all but impossible for anyone not entering the wildy as part of a group - which would then result in gang-vs-gang warfare not unlike what's already possible in clan wars, etc. Questers and solo players would be left with no option but to avoid the wildy or put themselves at the mercy of gangs of bullies and spoilsports who don't subscribe to the philosophy of "live and let live." The current system (random revenants) adds sufficient challenge to the game while giving each player a fair chance to assess the risk and prepare accordingly. If Jagex wants to replace the current pvp worlds with "old wildy" worlds, that's the way to really test the popularity of the concept -- I'm betting that the vast majority of players will "vote with their feet" and flock to other worlds, leaving the pkrs and bullies to complain endlessly about the lack of easy prey on the "old wildy" servers. If Jagex were to convert ALL worlds to the "old wildy," I'd cancel my account and move on.
