The runescape community was hit hard when they first changed wildy. So many quit and left the game. There was WAY more than 1 billion gp thrown away at party rooms. Jagex shocked us all and ruined runescape. Not only will runescape get thousands of more players, but they should realise this means less macroing. People mostly bot for money and xp, but what would be the point if you could almost get any item from friends or other accounts. This change would deffinately help cleanse our community and add more. I only feel bad for those who dropped all their claws, god swords and armour.
Runescape has developed much over the years and im really glad they have finally got the brains to switch this. Even thought its obvious this is for the good of the community and nothing bad will **me from it, why did they take so long? Are they scared of somethign? Or is their actually something bad that might come from it? Well whatever the reason they have finally done it and all should VOTE. This is like the elections to our community and everyone has their right and responsibility to vote.

Being a former member here for many years I've quit Runescape for about 2-3 years now as I didn't have the time to play it and it really didn't keep me occupied. When Jagex decided to implant that huge update in 2007 the game lost its spark, maybe thats what got me bored cause I remember that being a massive part of my leaving.
I remember hundreds of players ranting about this and threatening to quit and most players probably didnt they just threatened it so Jagex could change it back and 3 years later they've realized how big that old wilderness and dual arena means to some players. It's really exciting to hear it'll be changed back aslong as the votes go to plan, I just voted and 90% of players want it changed which is mind-blowing.
I just hope it changes back tbh and aslong as I can find some time I will definately be returning to Runescape, whether there's players camping by the Zamorak mage waiting for a runecrafter myself to come along haha its all part of the fun ^_^

For all those complaining about getting scammed, it's your own fault! With valuables, come RESPONSIBILITY.
You need to know when to trust someone or **t, in most cases, being safe is better than sorry!
Also, does this mean if you fight a dragon somewhere and you die, that another player can pick up all their valuables or is this not coming back?

Too people complaing about people ripping people off and "scamming" (which fyi is not charging a higher price). When you buy an item at the G.E, you allow people you have never met, may be botters/rwters/merchanting clans to determine your limits.
Im not sure whats worst, a person asking for a price you can deny and look elsewhere or buying something at 16m for it suddentley crash too 2m without any sort of input or way back.
Theres a whole secition of the Runescape Forums dedicated for trade, which to be honest unless your dealing with rares is pretty much pointless. If you want the cheapest price, you can look for a trader by creating your own thread.
Free trade and wildy? YES YES YES YES YES YES YES

edit: Too the person above, gravestones will be only removed in wildy, outside of wildy you get no loots

The Hacking and scamming has already begun.
I just log out of Facebook and there are people posting things, stating that they have allowed everyone to vote again, even if they have already voted. And when you click the link it goes to a page that looks like the runescape log in site....BEWARE it is designed to steal your account!
DO NOT LOG IN USING THOSE TYPES OF LINKS!

Why did you have to inrtroduce this monstrosity back into the game?????
If you must have the Wild the so be it!
But take away the free trade!
