I am quite adamantly AGAINST the return of Free Trade and the PvP Wilderness. While the loss of Free Trade was keenly felt, as I greatly enjoyed getting gifts for friends (and at higher levels, the gifts tend to be pricier), but I, and I'm sure many other players, understood the reasoning behind it.
What I don't understand is why you, Jagex Team, would want to resurrect something you fought so hard against, and for good reason! Real-World Trading is a HUGE problem, particularly for the company and for legitimate players, and it's appalling to see how those solid methods of limiting RWT would be put under consideration for repeal.
Furthermore, the introduction of the Grand Exchange was a major miletsone for Runescape. It's offered an easy method of trading for one, as well as offering a (semi)stable economic system to the game. I was so sick of seeing items with ridiculous pricetags that only continued to become more and more expensive, or cheap items being auctioned off for obscene amounts of gold!
Bringing back Free Trade in particular would destroy that aspect of the Grand Exchange, as everyone would simply go back to the forums to auction their items to the gullible.
So I appeal to you, Jagex Team, please do NOT reinstate Free Trade and PvP Wilderness. Real-World Trading should be offered no quarter, and I certainly hope you haven't forgotten that.
