In my eyes when these changes were made the game was ruined. I honestly do not play near as much and the game really isn't much fun for me. I also strongly believe that the Grand Exchange ruined the game as well. Before the grand exchange you had to interact with players to get what you wanted. You had to go to different places to find the people who had what you wanted. You had to do research to find out what things were worth. The Grand Exchange ruined this part of the game. Most people will probably say the grand exchange is the best thing that ever happened to trade. That is because people always want things to be easy. I believe if the Grand exchange stays there should be a hefty tax paid to those who are generous enough to handle the trades... I mean this grand exchange takes out a big portion of the game being realistic.
What I loved about the game for so long is how you had to really interact with people to buy sell trade and choose your own prices for the items. That was realistic. The old wild is what made the game second most fun for me.
I am very excited about this change, but I really believe you guys should get rid of the Grand Exchange as well. Sure people will complain because they all want things to be easy. However the game will be more realistic. It is just silly to be able to go to a npc and buy any item that anyone has for sale. I could see the grand exchange doing trades between worlds if you have the persons name selected as who your trading with. So either a large tax or completely gone is what it should be... I mean them grand exchange guys do a lot of work and for what??? They allow the players to be lazy for what???
