In my opinion free trade shouldn't entirely get back, maybe you could just raise the trade limit a bit (still depending on quest points).
About the Wilderness I think it should have its own world(s), because that way the quests and the activities like clan wars and stealing creation would stay in its own place, plus the monsters like green dragons in which a lot of players relly on to make cash, just because of people camping the dragons because they want to kill some people and make their in-game life harder. I have played since 2005 around that... I've never really liked to fight other players in the wilderness just because of the risk of losing my items, but I respect people who do like to do it, not to mention the people that go to the wilderness to make cash (like mentionned before) and it would be harder to train agility aswell.
