Botting and RWT will always be present in MMOs. Runescape was the first to overreact and take away player's fun because of it. They need to stop caring about it or whatever they want. They would gain so many old players if they were to bring back the best parts of old RS

I used to like the pking wildy but I dont mind it to much now that I use it for green drags. Botting is always going to be a problem. When I go to draynor or to mine iron I notice that 2 out of 3 people are botting so either way its going to be bad.

You mean the part where you go out wait an hour for a target just to fight them 15 times untill one of you die or run out of saftey time? You mean the part where you go to a +1 world and dont have to worry about dying cuz' you keep your most expensive item? you mean the part where EVERYONE is in monks robes and thats NOT how it's supposed to be?You mean the part where you go to a PvP world and risk everything to gain nothing? You don't know a thing about what you're saying.
I get my defense to 20 I expect to wear my mith when I pk. Not have people spam me to go get robes. you were brought up in a PvP system which is full of spoiled no skill idiots. All of you that is against this poll is truly and honestly cancer to what rs stands for.

Sword of Boo, I disagree with your statement. Jagex was not overreacting. It had to be done to save the game from further bdamage from botters. Many players still enjoy RuneScape even if there was a trade limit put in place. Many have overcome the trade limit restriction and managed to make lots of gp. If the sole purpose of this vote is to gain more players and more money for Jagex, then this is not a good way to do so. If old wildy and free trade were to come back, I'm very sure you would find all the yew trees in every single world being chopped by bots.
Doku, I strongly oppose your opinion on people who oppose this vote. What do you mean people who oppose old wildy and free trade are like cancer cells in RuneScape? There are other things BESIDE Pking. RuneScape is not all about Pking and killing people for loot.

A better solution is to keep the current PVP and Bounty worlds and existing worlds the way it is and introduce 5 new old wildy and free trade worlds each for members and free players instead, and only allow players with over 1000+ total levels and a certain amount of quest points to have free trade. Isn't this a better solution? It will satisfy those who like the trade limit, current PVP system, wildy with revenants and those who want back free trade, old wilderness and whatnot, while making it hard for botters to cheat on runescape and preventing misuse of the free trade by players who are buying gp from sites.

We can't stop all the bots. If free trade comes back, yes bots will come back. But I'd rather that than this system that is now. I welcome the bots to come back. the game was PERFECTLY FINE with bots running around, in fact I walked by them without even thinking because I just didn't care. I never saw any problem with them. If you're a real player of runescape you will find a way to sell your supplies at your own price instead of bowing to the bots. L2rs. I've been playing since the start and i've never had a problem with bots. I honestly think people should stop complaining.

People that get scammed are just going to have to learn the hard way that you don't play the "trust game" or go into the wildy with a group of people unless you trust them. When I first started this game I played the trust game and got scammed and didn't get scammed ever again. Just be smart and pay attention and you'll be fine.

I posted on my feelings about the poll topic. Now to post my feelings on the poll itself.
1. The poll system is flawed. I am noticing that there are more saying no than yes here yet the majority vote is still yes. Why is that? PEOPLE ARE GOING ONTO THIS FORUM AND ENTERING ANOTHER ACCOUNTS NAME MULTIPLE TIMES BECAUSE THERE IS NO PASS CHECK! THATS WHY! YOU CAN ENTER A USERNAME AGAIN AND AGAIN FOREVER WITHOUT ANYTHING STOPPING YOU!!!!!
2. Ahem. Sorry about the rant. Anyway, I believe we need an old style voting system for this poll. Not just a simple yes or no. There are multiple things we can do with this to make everyone happy.

Doku, for your info, i have started playing RS since late 2005. I'm a legit player. I dont have any black marks or offences on my 5-year old account. Tell me, have you played more than 5 years? I do manage to make my own cash and sell my own stuff with the current trade system and current wildy. I would prefer the current wildy and trade limit than old wildy and free trade. Why not have Jagex give us options, like those who want free trade and old wildy can have worlds dedicated for them while to free trade you would need a total lvl of at least 1000+ and/or a certain amount of quest points?
