I personally think that if free trade is to come back, and prices of items are kept the same, but the limit you would be able to trade would be gone. As for the wilderness, I got along fine with it, and it doesnt bother me now. But I would really like to see the prices of items stay, but trade limit goes. In all, vote for the wildy!

This is an intense topic. In my case I would benefit from voting yes because my friend gives me lots of his fish from training that I cook for training. So I voted yes. I think it would be good to at least give the old RS a little try. We'll see how it goes...

Thank you Jagex!
You are finally righting your wrong from 2007 :D
Anyone who votes no for the poll never got to experience the wilderness. I think after this update they will realize how good it really is.
I remember the thrill of the old wildernes.... always watching your minimap and logging as soon as you saw a white dot. Now with the revs... protect mage on.. no problem.
As for free trade... Once again can the community control prices with no influence from Jagex (anyone see the drop in amulet of accuracys?)
and one more thing, is Jagex bringing back shops shared by everyone or still personalized because that also ruined trade... I remember standing at general stores waiting for a newbie to sell something good for me to quickly buy... good times....
well anyway... THANK YOU SOOO MUCH JAGEX

One thing that i am truely excited about?
Staking, When everything was removed from the game it made it to much like WoW. There was one thing that i used to love about this game was that i had utter freedom with my money, if i wanted to go to the duel arena and stake money i could.
But these days money making HAS to be made through wilderness random drops, skilling and merchanting thus demening the whole point of player skill and puts stats first.
I think this would be a good idea to bring it back and put real player skill back into the game in making money.

Easy solution for you then. Use another altar that's not in the wilderness. =P Other people used Abyss in old wildy or used alternative safer altars, if they could do it, you can too. You're not forced to go to the Abyss to train runecrafting, there are altars such as the Astral, Law and Nature altar outside of the wilderness for people to use if they don't wish to get killed. Don't get me wrong, I was an anti pker and hence left runecrafters alone, so I've nothing against runecrafters. However, the wishes of the few do not outweigh the wishes of the many. But I think it's rather unfair for people to just be so negative because their fastest way of training is risky yet they do have other options to still train.
If you wish to state that the Abyss is the best exp/best money for you, 99 runecrafting is profitable if you still use safer altars. Sure, it's faster to use the Abyss but the idea of the Abyss was for it to be better exp at the expense of it being a greater risk in order to obtain this. That was the idea behind the wilderness agility course and runite in the wilderness, so consider people who mined that ore and like myself, used that course to train. We understood that there were risks to this better exp and dealt with it or moved to a safer location and missed out on the better exp/resources. The wildy is meant to be dangerous and scary. =P Where'd the challenge or sense be in having a superior way of training without any sort of disadvantage to it over any other way of training? It makes things far too easy if everything had a far superior way to achieve it without any sort of disadvantage to it. Old school players had easier ways to achieve their 99s forced on them and nothing was done about it even though many of us didn't like that our 99s were effectively cheapened, so I'm afraid that things will have to just be accepted and dealt with like we all had to do. Wouldn't be fair to favouritise others, we are all treated equally.

You truly don't know what you're talking about when you mention the old wild. All of you who are against the change back due to botting, etc. I can understand and I'm sure they'll address that quite effectively. To those of you who are against it because you like the new "bh" or "pvp" system, you know nothing about true pking. The old wild was the only reason that myself, and hundreds of thousands of other players played this game. When it was removed those same hundreds of thousands of users stopped playing. Back in 04-07 there would be well over 7-800k people on and most of them were either pking, making items to sell to pkers, or training to get items/stats to go pking! Pking was the heart of runescape and pkers easily outnumbered all other people interested in other facets of the game. Now that the new pking system is the way it is, players have no control over item prices or what drops they get in bh regardless of how much they themselves are risking. I've killed over 10 people in regular bh worlds w/o that +1 bs and recieved under 500K in items when I have 100 ep I'm risking over 10m and they guy I killed had 10-40m+ in items and armor. That is simply enraging. I don't find it awesome that Lvl 20's risking nothing kill people also risking nothing get more than I do risking 10m+, and if you do you don't know pking. I had many accounts including zerker pures, 1 def pures, and barrows pures. I still have the accounts of course but they have been mostly out of use since they created this "new and somehowe better version". I laugh at people who claim that the new bh is better than the old pking style. That took true teamwork in multi, and you and your group of real-life friends or friends in-game could team up and risk your items and honor vs others. It was epic and heart-pounding to put it simply. 1v1 was also better because you knew what you were risking, and you could weigh the risk with the possible benefits.I'd love a rebuttle-to be continued

I agree totally, I'm tired of the damn merch clans manipulating the markets, and scamming still happens without the trade, just with junk trades of unknowledgable players, and account scamming. The trade limit doesn't stop rwt either, it still happens, their will always be ways around it.
I strongly dislike the new pvp system. I don't PK much, but I have killed a few players risking over a million and I get crap.
The g/e should be changed into something like an auction house where you set your prices and people can just search for an item and the see the list of players prices for the item. But the g/e should not charge a fee on it, that would ruin it.
