also jagex listen up. get rid of the merchers they mess up the economy as it is. keep the ge and the limits and say no to old wildy saying yes is saying yes to scam to preaditor. khanbibi madskills admin

from many of the comments I've seen the 3 potential problems of reverting would be bots, scams and to a lesser extent things located in the wildy added in the 3 year period.
as the grand majority of the players are f2p, we are the most susceptible to bots, and currently the only 2 things keeping the bots at bay/making rwt impractical are the trade limits and GE. Unless they have another way of keeping them at bay... I'd like to know.
the relocation of minigames and various other things should at least be copeable...
as for the potential for scams I have no idea how they'll deal with it.
I'd say give it a try, going hardline with a no isn't exactly flexible thinking... "All men are jealous and stupid, and all women are stupid to be happy about it, idiots are everywhere you look…"

in the old runescape there were no gravestones or anything to protect your items as they do now. When you died you had about 30 seconds of time to get your items back. If you didn't they would appear on the ground for another 30 seconds or so for anyone to pick back up.
If the wilderness is brought back the gravestones will block any pkers from receiving the items unless the person is skulled. Will this remove the gravestones from the game? If so then I will not be training anymore the risk of losing my items like the old pk system does not sound like a good idea.
Im against having old wildy/trade back
Old Wildy = Newer lower level players getting tricked into being killed ect...
New Wildy = Effective system to keep new players aware of the dangers of going into the wilderness
Old Trade = An easy way to transfer items between hacked/stolen accounts and higher possiblity of being hacked, yes you still have your bank pin, but it is definately not as safe
New Trade = An effective way to protect against Hackers, also helps block some of the newer players from asking for "Free St00f"

I will be sad to see these updates return to the game.

Being one of the players that use to play during the time period of the Old Wilderness and Free Trade I would love to see it comeback. I know that there are potential problems with this, but I believe it's worth giving a try. Also for all the people that mention luring and such, why say no to it just because of that? What about the people that use the wilderness to actually PK and don't lure or scam and just enjoy using it for what it's meant for? I feel like saying no to this just because of the minority of bots, scammers, and lurers isn't right. Think about the people that take it and use it for what it is and don't take advantage of it.

i am just worried about going to go charge air orbs.
and this updtate is going to cut in to my profits badly this is one of my sources of income in game. and it helps me to get my mage up.
and the way things are now with the merchers calling the shots in the market sucks.
i got corn sitting in on ge from yesterday waiting to get sold.
and it is not sold yet and i blame them.
jagex get the merchers out of runescape. make it unlawful to even merch.
i work hard at my skills and sell what i produce very hard.
once it took even rocktails to even sell in the ge hours.
