Pvp wont be back because wildy will be there or else Runescape will go on a rampage! lol jk maybe. :P There wont be any destination! :) Only wildy where you can get kill once you walk in :) And i will pwn everyone :P

There has always been a stability in the runescape economy, you just have to know which items to stock at what times. Everything has always been supply and demand even with the current economy as people sell at lowest end in the GE the price starts to drop in the medium. As people sell reliable at the high end the price gradualy increases. The economy isn't fixed by any means it's just a slower change than it use to be. Free economy or no I'll always make the money i want when I want it.
I quit playing shortly before the wild was taken away from everyone. Personaly I never spent much time in the wild I enjoy skilling more than pvp it's easy to avoid. With the wild being free of pvp I have enjoyed the freedom that comes with it. If it goes back it goes back, I think in all fareness though Jagex should keep some bubblewrap worlds as it has been described- for the players than enjoy pvp free play.
The way runescape is now makes an older returning player spoiled if things go back It's not going to change play styles much, not sure how effective the GE will be in a free economy but if it changes I guess we'll find out.
Locations and advantages to the wilderness havn't changed everything has been there since before the wild went pvp free with the exception of clan wars and stealing creation. The void runecrafting was always dangerous camp site for some pkers. Green dragons were always crowded with the exception of the very few dareing to bring a cannon.
There was the good and there was the bad I think that many are fooled about the glory that the wilderness was it's not something I ever saw but it's not for me to judge everyone.

Losing the old Wildy and free trade, for me, hobbled the game irretrievably. I stopped playing regularly not long after that.
Yes I hate botting and I have to admit that RWT does hurt; but, in the end, gutting the game by removing Wildy/Trade (IMHO) hurt enough to make me quit.
RWT was a real pain but I played around it and it did not push me from the game.
After trade balance, the rules were restrictive to the point of meh to trade at all.
Before the change, the old Wildy was *much* more scary, stressful and exciting than PK worlds.
Unfortunately, I'd like to say that with Wildy/Trade back I would come back but I can't guarantee that... after playing other games with older players it would be difficult to come back to an adolescent-saturated environment. Don't get me wrong - I like kids but it does get old pretty quickly.
Reading most player comments throughout the forum makes me realize why the majority of the gaming world and players don't take RS seriously.
I tell people I'm a RS vet and I defend RS as often as it comes up. But I have no defense against the 'kiddie game' argument - and this is the one that everyone mentions.
When Wildy/Trade comes back; I'd be 100% for converting the PK worlds to normal worlds that are 18+ or 21+ Only worlds.
Anyway to all: Vote yes to restore RS Wildy/Trade as it should be - as I voted!

personally i think compromise is the best answer, keep the G.E. and let people set there own prices or if they want they can go with a recommended price this would also allow free trade or set price amounts. just something to think about

The problem is..
Why Bring back One and not the other? Say.. person wants to Hack Via trade-over. Person cant due to they didnt want to bring back Trade freely.
Person wanting to hack, decides hey! Lets just pretend pk with 600m and that will trade it over.
Thus solved 'Bring back this but not that comments'
Staking will also be fully re-instated so what the hells the point of those comments anyway. Jagex have said what they're doing and dont think their going to bring half back and half not considering itll still making hacking and scamming totally Open.
I am for this update because im an elder player ( Meaning playing since the start almost ) And the change to runescape was horrific. The fact is people who decide to steal are only making themselves look utterly useless at not being able to complete a simple online game, If you are going to use this update to get rich then i suggest you just quit anyway. Ive been rich and it sucks.. Its fine for about a week then it gets old.
Update Wisely or Dont update at all.

All i have to say is for the people complaining about how they were scammed it's there own fault, i mean we all know you probly started when you were 7 years old and spammed click when you were trading, your under the age limit so if your dumb enough to spam click when your trading i think you deserve to be scammed. Personally i want the old wilderness back and free trade limit. I mean ya there was tons and tons of botters but to be honest there still is nowa days. half of the the pures that pk mostly bot for there money. You see if the old widlerness comes back there wont be as many dragon claw rushers because theres the chance of them dieing and losing them is more likely, unless jagex keeps the +1 item thing, but common jagex you made the project one item pray for a reason you might as well make it usefull. Well thats what i have to say, hope things are turned back to the way they use to be.
