when the risk being killed by other runescape members by going into the Wildy was removed it was one of the best idea's around.
1. you could actully do clue scrolls when you could not when the risk of other runescape members killing you.
2. everyone used to always target those that were just starting the game for the first time.
3. you could atully train your stats on stuff that give you worth while stuff once you got into correct lv.
now free trade.
before you took out the free trade you got everyone scamming everyone that just starts eg. making a iron dagger and selling it to a new starter for around 5-15k depending on the scammer,
if the trade scammer wanted lets say mith full armour they would ask for 5k gold and would not go any lower but if they wanted dragon platebody they would ask for the full 50k.
here's what you did.
you took off the free trade so you could cut down on the scamming, if you put it back you will have wasted you time getting the scamming down by a nice % in what you only know at head office.
when you took out the Wildy you made more worlds or just turned worlds into PvP or bounty worlds for everyone who actully wanted to risk all their items ect.. but if you put that back you will cut down the playing area for non-paying and paying members that want to keep their items that they have worked hard for.
so sure cut down our playing area and watch as you start losing paying members.
and for all you other fellow playing members if you want to kill other members and risk your stuff go to the PvP worlds or bounty woulds thats what they were made for and stop your crying about the Wildy not being how it used to be.
and how about the free trade you want that back to normal so you can all start your scamming again.
so please stop acting like 3 year olds and crying because runescape admin have denied your bullying that in facts around the world bullying can lead to others commiting suicide in real life.

Jagex is not bowing to the pkrs or anything else. they are listening to the voices of the majority of players that miss the reality of the rs world as it used to be. I nvr have been a pkr or a merchant. The freedom from the restrictions that have been imposed in the past 3 years will be gone, and that is something to look forward to. Its like the game lost its soul without the freedom to choose. I was becoming a childrens walk through type game. vote yes

Ugh. I can see a purpose and a consequence in allowing Free Trade, but with whole worlds dedicated to PvP, I don't see why anyone would care about the old wilderness. Except for the fact that you can steal other people's stuff when they're trying to complete a task of some sort...
I voted No, but unfortunately there aren't many of us.

@Igerg you can say that you have never but that does not mean that your are telling the truth i've played before the wildy became safe never went into it when i lost my full dragon (first ever time) doing a clue scroll like i say if you want to kill other players GO TO A PVP WORLD OR BOUNTY WOULD jagex put them woulds in for players that just like to take everyone stuff that have worked hard for them.
@alex at least you have a brain and know the reasons about the PVP worlds and bountry worlds.

and for runescape being it back all you want but watch my accounts leave the members worlds and return to the free worlds and my self walking into Cambridge were you are based at (head office) and talking to Mr. Gerhard (your CEO) remember we are the ones that pay your wages without us there would be no runescape or there would but you would have to add in a item shop or make the game for just paying members
PS. i hope you dont get the HM mark of approval but i dont even think the royal family would play this anyway but if they do i hope one of them will turn around and try and make you see sense and then maybe you would have agained the royal mark of a approval.

So, I think this is the best update that could happen since the update to get rid of free trade and old wilderness.
More than half of Runescape players quit the game within 6 months of the update.
There were three types of players in Runescape.
Skillers
Merchanters-No more free trade, No more merchanters.
PKers- No more wilderness, no more PKers.
About being scammed;
I think for all the people complaining of being scammed, it's your fault. You should watch more carefully on what is happening in the trade.
About being killed for clue scrolls;
They really aren't that hard to do without being killed. I did them on my level 100 all the time and did not die once.
Hopefully if you do the update, more people will start back up again. I can name about 15 people that I know off the top of my head that would play again. 15 isn't much, but it would be a long chain of people who would play again.
So obviously with all of that being said, i agree with the update. I don't understand how all of the feedback is negative when the poll is 90 percent yes, 8 percent no, and 2 percent i dont mind.
AND; People complaining about voting for yes because there was not a no button, you should have read more carefully.

Dear Jagex,
I'd just like to create this thread to inform you that I voted no and I definitely do not like this idea.
Having the option to vote to bring back the trade limit is NOT a good idea. You have no idea how many botters you are going to have if you do this. You've already got nearly too many to keep track of, you are going to have so much more.
I strongly disagree with this idea, and the only word I can use for this is Insane. In my opinion, it's borderline stupidity as well. I WON'T be quitting if you do this but I certainly won't be happy and some other player's wont be as well.
I just thought I would give you my say.
Thank you,
Kickium.

Wouldn't it be cool if they could try the proposed changes out in like 1 or 2 worlds for a couple weeks and see how it goes before they turned everything upside down? A trial time period would really go a long way to answering so many questions...
