Okay, yes the market is going to be wild, crazy and in turmoil. However, it will be temporary, it will stabilise.
Also, once stabilisation occurs, the GE will help to regulate street prices and street prices will regulate GE.
For example. If rune scimitars are going for 100K on GE and 60K in trade. The GE price will go down to meet it and/or the street price will go up. There would have to be a reason to buy or sell at different than market. If there is a reason, the GE price will adjust.
It's just like store prces**** prices never go to much higher than store prices because if it's high enough to be worth the trip, people will travel to the stores instead of buying on GE.
The difference never get's greater than what people pay for convenience.
Take a real world example. You might pay $2 for a bottle of water at a corner strore a mile instead of $1 at Wal Mart because the corner store is closer.
Back to GE and free trade... Markets equalise, if Walmart charges $5 and Kroger Charges $2 for meat, people will go to Kroger.. So then Walmart will lower it's prices to avoid losing business.
This is why the argument, "what if noobs sell fish for 1M" is poor. No one will buy that fish, they will either lower their prices or not sell the fish.
