no offense northern111 but youre a noob. Most people who havnt voted dont know about the vote cause they quit in 07. it somhow needs to get out. and most people who didnt vote didnt play in 07.. simple

i dont know why all of you people are scared of the old wild because you want to be safe from pkers when you do your clues and so you dont get scammed.
first of all newb you wont get scammed unless you let it happen,
and dont you want a challange when doing your clue?,
the old wild was always the hardest challange , if you dont want to lose your precious items dont take them to the wild dummy.
in case none of you remember they got rid of the old wild to combat real world traders, not so you will be safe when you go into the wild.

I've personally played this game since before phats dropped in classic and to me the removal of the wilderness and free trade was the single best update Jagex has ever **me up with.
When people can openly trade they simply create throwaway lvl 3 accounts to bot and produce cash that they give to their Main Account through the wilderness or open trade, protecting their Main Account from getting banned. I remember attempting to cut yew trees along with 20 (no joke at all) lvl 3 bots named ping1243, ping1244, ping1245, exc. When everyone bots it creates an unfair market as items in less supply which cannot be botted to obtain (God Wars Material, D Claws, Rares) are bought out by the botting population which no longer cares for price.
Also, there is no point in creating a pole with one option. Why isn't the pole system P-word protected; I can type in the names of everyone I see at the GE and get myself a good 500 votes by the end of today, hell, someone’s probably already voted that I want to bring everything back. Why can't I vote against the wilderness and free trade? I'm just waiting for Jagex to bring everything back saying that 100% of voters chose to bring it back on a pole with only that option.
For those who want the old wilderness back, I do support making the current wilderness on all worlds PVP. What many people don't realize is that the current PVP system also gives players a ton more cash than the old system used to (as a PK'er myself).
PS - For everyone assuming that me and others against free trade are against it because of scamming, that idea is ridiculous.

i remember when they instauted the trade update , it felt like they totally turned there back on faithfull players, now they are doing it to players that suported the change, i love it, its sneaky sleezy and downright slaps em in the face!! and they act like it is a choice,hahahaha

I am not 7, and I am not stupid. I know scamming would still be hard, but also still possible!! RuneScape is about fun not learning the hard way.
I honestly think PvP Wilderness is probably the worst idea to bring back with all the activities in there. I don't know if I'd ever play RuneScape again if this update goes through.
JUST UPDATE BOUNTY WORLDS TO BE LIKE THE OLD PVP WILDERNESS!! PLEEEAASSSEE!

Free trade was seldom used by scammers, more often it was used by friends to give each other gifts...and albeit giving stuff to pures. But I think Jagex should allow that anyway, it's not fair that pures have to work all over again when they already did the work.
I hope that this time, we can attack all levels in the wilderness, not being able to do so was very annoying...

That won't work. We want to beat defenseless noobs, not people who came there to fight, PKers like to hunt, it's not a hunt if they are prepared and have food and friends with them. Runescape doesn't need a hero...it needs a villain. An all encompassing force of evil that will remain ever-threatening and use chaos to make the peoples of Gielinor tolerate each other, grow strong together, and fight side by side against this evil. I am that villain.
